hello everyone, I have an odd Yoda that I recently picked up on ebay. I am wondering if it is the lili ledy hk yoda with coo #3. I am admittedly not expert and am very colored blind, so any help would be awesome. Figure has deformed coo #3, belt with mould circle, and v2 snake with circles on the bottom of snake. Eyes look orange to me?? Cape also seems to have tacky residue. Th an ks! |

Blog Update #3 (14/02/2018)
Being not on Facebook, both Aussie James and Shawn Kemple contacted me last week to let me know the very sad news that fellow Luke Jedi focus collector, Bob Martinazzi has passed away.
For those that did not know Bob, he was known for having "arguably largest and finest Luke Jedi collection in the world". You can still see his collection on LukeJedi.info, which I am told will be looked after and kept on-line indefinitely in his memory.
Bob was an amazing gentleman; his huge collection was greatly dwarfed by his heart of genuine and charitable nature. Many people will have their own stories of Bob, I always found him to be most friendly, enthusiastic, positive and so helpful. He was even humble enough, after hearing about me from Shawn, to email me directly in 2010 when I just started out collecting Luke Jedi items, offering support and help on my Luke Jedi collection. There was me, a complete nobody (I’m still one), and this mega-collector with everything you could possibly think of, taking the time to drop me an email of support.
Sadly I have been out of serious collecting for a few years with some personal things; also with the recent little guy keeping me busy, I hadn't had the chance to catch-up with either Bob or Shawn, so had I no idea that he was unwell. I wish I had taken the time to drop them both a line. If there's lesson to share with you all, then it's to make sure you stay in touch with friends and family and don't take life for granted; we are only here for a short while.
Below is a treasured piece of my collection. Bob, on finding out that I really wanted to acquire a piece of Luke Jedi pre-production, offered me one of his pair of Luke Jedi pre-production Torso. Last time we talked of the Torsos, it was believed that there’s only three in existence. He told me he didn’t want to profit from friends and worked out a next to nothing price for me for me to pay over a few months and posted it for free. That was man he was.
You can see more of this piece here on his site along with other mind boggling items.

Thanks for the reconformation of the figure not being Ledy, still is cool to have. I thought there were transition ledy figures between the orange and black eyes between COO #3 (deformed copyright Hong Kong and COO#6 (deformed Copyright NO COO). |

Hi guys , I recently won this auction on eBay . Please take a look at listing 302583268573 , I bid on it as I was pretty sure it was a LL Yoda but noticed the Hong Kong (coo #3) in yoda’s guide . To make things better his eyes are black Pac-Man and his skin tone very deep green which is the fourth variant in the guide (update from nov 2013) !! Can you please confirm this and document this reconfirmation of this rare fourth variant ?? Now I must get him LL accessories |

Hi ! I have a Lili Ledy Han Solo Bespin with the nice white buckle in its back , this one has COO #4 as in the LL guide ; however, it does not has its ears covered by hair as shown in the COO #3 example. Is this only with COO #3 and not with COO #4? Could it be that initially the hair was done as in the Kenner figures and then later was done covering the ears? Your comments are greatly appreciated! |

Selling three of my vintage Vaders. #1 is NM/M looks straight off the card, 100% authentic zipping cape and V4 Kenner rounded tip saber. $45 #2 is EX/NM, has some playwear: shoulder scuff, rubs on his chestplate, but his saber is dead mint, a Kenner V1 flat tip transition. Cape zips $35 #3 NM/M figure, VG saber, so the figure itself is very minty. His saber is faded though, lettered with "MM" on the hilt, and it might have been chewed on, but is not badly deformed. It's the proper length, just has some indents. Cape zips. $40 I have pics, pm if interested. I'm looking to sell for a fair market value, and these are extremely nice figures. I am very strict grading my own figures, and I count every defect, no matter how small. So, if you're looking for an AFA style grade, my opinion is #1 = 90+, #2 = 80, #3 = 85, but you can judge for yourself by the pics. *IMPORTANT NOTE* Since I need quick sales, I have also posted these on EBay as well. The starting price for the 7 day auction is $5. The prices here are *cheaper* than the EBay "Buy It Now" prices I have listed. I don't want to appear shady, but EBay is going to take some of what I make, so I'm covering for that. Thanks for looking |

After my MITW Vader, I knew that I had to have MORE Vaders. The order should be changed up a little. Number 2 is a Lily Ledy I bought on its own. His paint is gorgeous. His saber is coming via a separate post. 1, 3, and 4 were ordered as a lot for $70. No idea on origins, COOs, etc, but I figured the price was worth it. Ended up with Kenner HK ( #1) sharing a LL COO, Raised bar no COO w/ a surprisingly gray head ( #3), and another nice Kenner HK ( #4). At the end is my first Vader with a lettered saber. And then the big guy. Love him. Plus, in a few days, I should have my PBP Vader And, I am terribly jealous of that Takara Vader |

Er, yeah, perhaps "light blue" isn't the best description. I meant the smooth more intense blue (second from the left with the POTF smooth cape jawa). Here's a bunch, and I'd describe them like this: (left to right) 1) very rough texture, dark blue/black, failed/ short pour bump (v4 on the guide) 2) smooth, "more intense" blue, no bump 3) smooth, dark greeny blue/black, no bump (transluscent green when backlit) 4) smooth, "more intense" blue, with bump 5) rough (but not as rough as 1), dark blue/black, with bump @Danny - your moc looks looks like my #3 figure, and #4 weapon so I think I'll match those up, so thanks for your pictures! Also, come to think of it, I know the VC Jawa didn't come with the more intense blue blaster, or the failed bump but I wonder whether the dark rough ( #5) its currently with, or the translucent green ( #3) would be more appropriate? I might open that up as a new thread... Sadly I have no idea which of these actually came with the figures anymore. I just know my Vinyl and POTF came without weapons at all. |

I have just got my hands on a lovely Star Destroyer Commander and was wondering whether he was a PBP variant. He has some of the hallmarks of a PBP as listed on: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t4427p75-the-poch-pbp-guide-discussion-thread-part-one#Star%20Destroyer%20CommanderI have included some pics of two Commanders I have both with the Coo #3. The one on the left I believe is a Kenner and the one on the right I was thinking is a PBP. - they both have thicker paint apps for the eyes and eyebrows than others I have had before - they both exhibit some rough paint marks on the helmet, arm and boot - the one on the right has the unique mis-aligned emblem - in addition it looks to me like the silver on the right wrist has been bad,y painted on rather than sprayed I would be certain this was a PBP if it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't display any of the customary melt marks associated with the PBP line. What's even more interesting is that the paintwork on the helmet and the left arm of the Kenner Appear to be exhibiting some signs of typical PBP with excess flashing and dripping paint. I could do with some help as I'm new to POCH / PBP. What are your thoughts? Jay |

This may be a "no duh," but I think Luke's role will be similar to Ben Kenobi's in Episode 4. He will be more of a supporting role. I don't think they would give more screen time to Luke than to Rey or Fin. The question that I have been wondering(your question #3 in yellow)...Will they kill off Luke Skywalker during this current trilogy, in similar style to Ben Kenobi, hence Rey will become the last Jedi? I hope not. If they do, I don't think it will be this episode, even though as indicated in question #3 in yellow, that the second episode may indicate evil being victorious in this sequel as it was in Episode 5. My only rationale is that they already killed off Han Solo, killing off Luke in the very next episode may be too much. I also think having Luke in one more episode(Episode 9) is important for us older fans, and I think Disney realizes that and would reward us with Luke being in one more episode, but one more episode only. Again I think he will make it to Episode 9, but will be killed off in that episode. Regarding the title, I think it is solid, I like it...and sorry for saying episode 100 times... |

Again I was just cataloguing my Yoda's and I can't quite pinpoint the versions of these: I think #1 is a thin v3 belt because it has the EPM on either side of the saber attachment, except that it doesn't have the "raised dashed line" around the edge of the belt at all - new variant perhaps? #2 is cool because it's slightly transluscent in color probably due to a reaction to light over the years - I think it might be a v2 except for the bumps + good paint coverage on the inside/back of the saber attachment. Also it also has a much larger hole on the back of the saber attachment compared to the v2's on the guide - again, new variant? #3 is a brighter brown than #2 (you can see the color differences in the last picture) - I suspect this really is a v2 although there are no traces of silver paint on the inside of the saber attachment and it shows no signs of other wear, but the mould is a v2. Its also very slightly thicker than #2 (which I can only tell when I hold them together but it's impossible to photograph) Thoughts? comments? all appreciated guys! |

| Search in: TIG Content and Reference Library Subject: Pilot Weapons - new slant? Tue May 17, 2016 1:34 pm |
I have a number of pilot weapons (all original from Tie and Cloud Car Pilot figures) in my collection and I was trying to document their versions with the TIG guide last week. I realised a few things: 1) that the "thin tip" blaster is not a "thin tip" at all, it's the entire blaster that's thinner - see side-by-side picture below. 2) there are so many variations (from just two figures?) that I don't think they are actual variations. I think there is a thin & a thick blaster mould (different factories maybe?), then they loaded in different plastic compounds over time that means the weapons differ slightly in color (should this be considered a variation?). The reason I think this is because I have 4 blasters (two are the same) so I pictured the three different ones. I think my #1 is a v2, my #2 is a v3 (but I'm not certain), but my #3 is odd because it doesn't have a raised EPM (although it does have extra flashing around the bottom of the EPM) so it's not a v6, and it's dark grey so it's not a v1 either - is it new variation maybe or just a different color version of a v1? (+ a messed up sight end) What do you guys think? Thin vs Thick weapon (not just the tip) (don't ask how I got them to stand up!) ComparisonsThis is the #3 (thin blaster) to show the flush EPM but with extra flashing remaining on the bottom side of the EPM, definately flush on the top side though |

But I suspect it is only found with this mould family. So dot & no dot is the body 'pair' head pair is ridge or no ridge. Hi guys, this Darth turned up today, right i will let you know i got him from the well known auction site, also the seller has only sold about 12 items in the last 6 months and nothing else was star wars, he also claimed he had this from years ago (i have no reason to believe different) so the only background info is it was bought in the uk years ago. Whilst looking him up i noticed the figure has lot of pros leading me towards the poche figure shown in wolffs VV poche guide, obviously i am not saying it is but i need to clarify what he is for my own sanity. I will try and make this simple and have tried to take the pics i can. first is the pros list- PROS. 1.He is alot duller and his limbs are a violet color all exactly like wolff describes.(again i tried to show the color difference it shows in 1 of the pics slightly) 2.He has a rough molded head with loads of dimples/dots and these are in various places on his torso as well, also his epm on the back of his head has a sloppy cut away mark.(again in the pics) 3. his torso does not match up when it was sonic welded it has left a "lip" where he was badly made. he is original and this is definetly factory sonic welding. ( in the pics) 4. the saber that came with him is identical to the pbp version color and everything. it is bendy and also has the flashing all around it. 5. lastly the corner of his cape is different to my others the #3/4 kenners are sharp corners, #2 kenner is very round, but his is inbetween and also wider? 6. he also has flashing around his hand and the oversized thumb, and the saber hand is way up the hilt, very wonky foot etc... CONS. 1. apart from the bad torso welding and raised dimple/dots all over he does'nt have any melt marks or a penis? 2. his coo is V1(1a) in wolffs 3.0 guide but this does not state poch or not? and is not the known pbp variant? 3. the cape has the normal zipping kenner feel. The only reason i question him is because he was filthy when igot him and looks all original (nothing replaced) and obviously with the saber fig and cape all having these traits.....you can guess Any input would be much appreciated guys, would like to hear from Bill on this if possible as well Order of appearance #1 ??? new fig , #2 kenner coo , # 3 kenner, # 4 childhood kenner/shared ( The new fig/ saber etc is always the one to the left the first the first shown) He also has the gimpy leg i am pest but without your help i dont know where he goes in my collection!!! |

Now that we are Phish free, let's do this contest!! A good friend to the gunnery ( @Lenn_guy) has what I can only call a Masterpiece of Vintage Art!!!! He's made a pickle jar full of vintage figures! This jar has only vintage, and is filled to the brim. When we saw this we knew a contest had to be done!!! Look at the pictures below for a 360 degree view of the jar. We are going to ask 7 questions about what's in here! Contest will be open until March 31st. You get to answer all the questions. First correct answer will be deemed the winner, or closest to the actual number. If two people are tied, we will flip a coin. Each winner will get a special TIG gift, courtesy of our own @Trappedtexan Bryan!! 1) Total Figures in the Pickle Jar 2) Total figures from the first 21 3) Number of Luke, Leia and Han's (all versions) 4) Number of Ewok's 5) Number of Droids 6) Number of Character's who list The Empire as their employer (Bounty Hunters are Self Employed) 7) Total amount of accessories you'd have if every figure was complete (To be fair, we consider an accessory anything that came with the figure (or can be removed from it). In the case of a wearable item it must be able to come off and be put back back without damage. Squidhead Cape and 2-1B Mask would be good, but ERG Cape wouldn't). We will give one hint here, there is NO removable Limbs C-3PO. Good luck!! Post your answers below!! *********************************ANSWERS AND WINNERS BELOW************************************ Okay - Congratulations on a game well played!!! We got 4 out 7 answers right on the money! Here are the figures, laid out, from the jar (get ready!!!) 1) Total Figures in the Pickle Jar Answer:75 2) First 21 Figures Answer:19 (No Snaggletooth, Boba Fett) 3) Number of Luke, Leia and Han's (all versions) Answer: 16 4) Number of Ewok's Answer: 35) Number of Droids Answer: 10 6) Number of Character's who list The Empire as their employer Answer: 12 7) Total amount of accessories you'd have if every figure was complete (To be fair, we consider an accessory something that came with the figure. In the case of a wearable item it must be able to come off and be put back back without damage. Squidhead Cape would be good, ERG Cape would not) Answer: 103 First correct answer gets it. If nobody hit it we did closest to the number. In a tie we flipped a coin. One person won 2 categories, but it's one prize per so we awarded the first question answered right. 1) Winner: Hellhippie (Shanester guessed 77 and Hellhippie guessed 73. Correct answer was 75 so we flipped a coin) 2) Winner: Jackroni at exactly 19 (kudos to Teeksolo for also guessing 19) 3) Winner: Symes coming closest at 16 4) Winner: Thall Joban at exactly 3 (Kudos to 13 others who also guessed 3) 5) Winner: Longshot at exactly 10 6) Winner: Darththomas at exactly 12 (Kudos to Symes who actually guessed 12 first but he won #3 already) 7) Winner: Teeksolo coming closest at 95 Please PM Trappedtexan with your mailing address.
