John, is Frankie still doing well? I know you had said that he was going to have another procedure on the other eye in about three weeks and that would have been around this time or a couple of days ago. I am sending prayers his way daily for the second procedure and hope he is doing well.

Sorry I haven't updated this. First off I want to thank everyone who sent Frankie a card. We covered a lot of countries and he was pretty psyched to get mail. I also want to say that some people sent a little something and while I really didn't (and don't) want anyone to do anything more than a card it was appreciated. I can promise you that he's either read , worn, or displayed stuff that came in.

We are prepping for the second surgery which is coming up on the 4th. We feel good, but I'm sure next Wednesday we'll be up all night and nervous wrecks. But for now, we're cool

Anyways, I appreciate everyone's support, It's been comforting.

Thank you everyone who sent a card. He's gotten then from Croatia to Australia, NY to Italy, Germany to the UK and almost everywhere in between.

I'm happy to report (from the recovery room) that Frankie had his second surgery this morning and he's resting comfortably. We will see how he fared soon but the Dr says or went well!

Hopefully everything went well. I'll keep sending good thoughts for Frankie.

I'm pleased to hear that the prognosis following the surgery today is good John.
