| Thanks I was suspecting that it was the one called dark boot. I did check your guide it's very good but I had trouble making out which one it was. I added another picture before I saw the reply. It does have excess plastic on the feet, a pretty large piece. I'm pretty sure it is not for sale, he is still working on completing his collection. Thanks for help |

| And here comes Mr. Snowie: the differnce of color in limbs as well as the plastics seem quite obvious... More to come in the nearest future |

| Ricardo and Luis, thank you very much for giving this thread the necesary bump. The more input we get from Spanish collectors the better it is. And those are some incredible MOCs! Yoda, Jawa:I haven't checked the pics thoroughly but at first sight the Yoda's and Jawa, look similar like figures which have been discussed before in this thread, and which were presumed to be POCH. That is a good thing!!! What is your opinion? See the links below: Jawa (Post #1) : Also take a look at the posts further down this page. Jawa (Post #2) : Also take a look at the posts further down this page. Yoda (Post #1) Yoda (Post #2)Snowtrooper:The Snowtrooper has been discussed before, see the link below. Imperial Stormtrooper Hoth Battle GearDoes he look like yours? What would you consider specific POCH charactersitics, paint wise? Cheers Marco |

| Fantastic pics Luis & Ricardo! Luis the 37/41 back MOC Poch Jawa & Snowtrooper with joined vizor/differrent plastic used in the production are incredibele rare and extremly cool variants. The Jawa appears to be the same variant as the loose sample in Wolff's Poch guide btw with the shiny black paint in the head & different (maybe unique to Poch) coat? Is the 37/41 back carded Jawa also the same as the sample pictured in the Spanishstuff website? The Poch/PBP Yodas are superb figures also. Ricardo, your three PBP Tie Pilots with AT-AT Driver helmet emblems are really amazing. I had a hard time finding just one of these in average condition.. Congrats on those my friend!! The Poch Dengar is a match to my collection sample, all though mine is probably mixed up due to the MIHK stamp on both legs? I simply LOVE the huge meltmark on the butt. Dengar is maybe not the most spectacular Poch variant, but he is very rare for sure unlike the PBP Dengar. And very cool also imo-- I'll try hard to find a little time to shoot & post some pics soon also. Ricardo is right, that he is one of the few guys keeping this thread alive. Sorry for my lack of contributions lately!! My spare time is limited to the late night hours, and I'm too exhausted to deal with shooting pics etc. |

| Hi Kenneth, thanks for your support. I am glad you like the Dengar Poch. In my opinion it is really a nice figure. Most people have Dengar like a second row figure.... Sorry Dr Dengar :-) :-) I would appreciate if anybody can upload more pictures of another Dengar poch.... or any other figure |

| I for one love seeing the photos and descriptions you guys post regarding pbp and poch variants, however I find it extremely difficult to find the figures in the 'wild' hence I rarely have anything to contribute. |

| I could spend the whole day on TIG and the hobby, doing research, making pictures, drawing schemes, writing articles and posts, discussing with others, and so on. But in reality I can only spend a limited time to TIG, and especially during busy periods at work, I find it hard to find the time and energy to contribute to my favourite projects like the Ledy, POCH, and POTB threads. So in case of this POCH/PBP thread, I am thankfull that guys like Ackbar, and Kenneth push the wagon forwards, while I am following the trails at the moment. Much appreciated, my friends. - ackbar100 wrote:

More info here: Dengar (Post #2)I also remember Kenneth and I were comparing some Spanish Dengars during CE2. http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t4427p570-the-poch-pbp-guide-discussion-thread#103196 Cheers Marco Question: In what way does the plastic of the POCH Snowtrooper on the previous page differ from say Kenner figures? |

Quote of the week. Though I can understand that collectors might feel reluctant to post when they don't have the figures in hand. Especially for the POCH figures. Still there must be collectors out there sitting on POCH collections. It would be great if they started to contribute here. - ackbar100 wrote:

No worries, I understood them in a positive way, just wanted to say something postive in return. |

| I was aware of a metallic blue Bespin blaster which came with some PBP/Euro variants.
But I had never seen a metallic grey TiE Fighter Pilot blaster till this week.
Who can provide some more info and pics about this blaster? |

| Sorry Marco i can't help with the metallic grey pilot blaster, other than that Greg 'flycasual' has one for sale http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6077-fs-pbp-tie-pilotat-at-emblems-lando-bespin-han-poch-rebel-soldier-ll-boba-fett perhaps he can chime in with more info? But i did pick up this unusual vader coo#5 on ebay recently, i checked out wolffs Poch variant guide and the head sculpt is identical. But the figure seems to lack the other usual poch characteristics, e.g cracks around the neck and upper back, extra flashing and melt marks. Its just the coo and head sculpt that are the same  http://swspaceclub.com/wbobafett/poch-variants/darth-vader/ This is probably just a short shot coo#5 due to the fact that Poch were exclusive to Spain and so therefore unlikely to turn up in the U.K but i thought it an interesting figure and would value other opinions. " /> " /> no melt marks " /> no additional flashing on the underside, but the weld is cracked " /> no cracks to neck or back " /> " /> |

| Thanks for sharing your pics, Chris. I wonder whether the rough head sculpt might be something which is related to this particular COO#5. Same for the mould circle ejector pin mark on the back of the head. A few Spanish Vaders in my collection also have this mark on the back of the head. I guess this has something to do with the steel mould connected to this COO. Nothing POCH specific IMO. http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t4427p285-the-poch-pbp-guide-discussion-thread#85447 Only one way to find out: loose Darth Vader variant collectors, please post pics of your COO#5 Vaders here. Sticking to the working theory, in the 37/41 back era, POCH (PBP) just imported parts from Hong Kong factories, and only painted and welded them, sometimes resulting in imperfections (cracks, melt marks, extrusions). Personally, a POCH figure should have unique paint applications (compared to Kenner). Unfortunately there is not much paint on Darth Vader, just the chest plate and the belt buckle. Still, I think we should focus on these spots if we want to find specific POCH characteristics for this figure. Let's do some more research on that. BTW: Your chest plate looks interesting with two downshifted red buttons. Factory error? Cheers Marco |

| I have a Darth Vader COO#5 but it doesn't have the circle on the back of the head. The limbs and heads from the mold family where assembled randomly though so some of the heads from the mold may not have the circle: Example; a head mold may contains several heads one of which may have an injection point while another may not, or possibly in a different place? Not sure. I do have another Hong Kong Darth Vader from a different mold family (slightly smaller print) te specific COO is not in Wolff's original guide, this figure has got the head circle. It's too dark now, but I'll post pics tomorrow if necessary although this is defiantely ot a Poch figure, so not really too relevant to the thread. |
