Then his time should still be up for him to be able to post pix. I posted the ones I did for him on May 9th (17 days after his first post) and May 10th (18 days after first post). So somewhere in there from the time the TIG team was discussing a post limit to now, it has been changed from a week/10 days to what ever it is now.

Robbie, the models can go in the oddball section since thats what they are considered as. Just start a thread for them and let it roll.

Edit: Just started a model thread in the other collectibles section for you guys to post up your goodies. If you can, post up the boxes with the models if you still have them.

Thats what this thread is for, seeing what everybody wants to see done around it. I have a few models here still sealed and never even thought about starting a single thread on them. I know later on I do plan on doing an OOTW (Oddball of the Week) threads and models are going to part of it. So be ready for that to be an up-coming feature in the near future.

I've just been looking at the members list. There are a number of people who have been signed up for months or more, who have never posted, but are visiting. Presumably they are benefiting from the information here without making any contribution. Would it be worth having a policy that if a member has not posted within a given period of time that their membership be withdrawn? This may encourage more active participation. I appreciate that cancelled members can sign up under a different name, but this may be more hastle than making the occational 'quality' post to maintain their existing membership!

Almost all sites with any decent quantity of members are like this. The active posters are a small percentage. Ideally I'd love to have 300-350 active posters (50% of base) but it's just not going to happen. Just like in real life, there are people who like to listen more than talk. The forums are no different. If a person enjoys the site, likes reading the posts, but doesn't like to talk who am I to force him.

Fair point John. I just thought that there could be members who have a lot to offer. I was just trying to propose a way that may encourage them to engage with us!

My only real wish for a change in TIGs future is to see TIG available through a mobile app like Forumrunner much like RS has done. I find that very convenient.

The forum will work on mobiles. It was a $2000 upgrade, so just PP gift it to me

Actually it already does Pete! When you log into the site on your mobile, you can select "Mobile Version" in the bottom corner of the screen and go onto the mobile platform. If you don't like it , you can click back to the standard format.

So enjoy and quit complaining already

Hey, I love complaining! I think someone mentioned it before - I also have a really hard time reading with the black background in the forums...this is especially tough on my mobile Also, when you click on the forum link form the main site, you have to go through another step by pressing the giant logo in the middle of the page (kinda redundant)...

Hey Mete. Thats one of the things I would like see changed here also. More color to the site. John had it changed one time, but it was all in French (yhea it was my fault, I know ), but it looked great that way.

A couple of members have mentioned now the background colour we use here at TIG is not easy on the eye.

What does everyone else think about the black background/white text here?

Has not really stood out to me, must mean that it is soothing on the eyes. I find myself dimming the screen with white backgrounds.

I'll try to work on another color scheme for everyone!

I find the white on black just fine myself.
