Question for any one in the know If you have a look at my lobots the one on the right has a mark on his face, is that common on this variant or is it one of the figures that didn't quite fit in to the mold correctly?

one of youre lumats could be lili ledy if his arrow pouch is not fully painted and is his facial paint different to a kenner one.

youre bespin luke is ledy as far i i can make out from the pic,its a bit blurry.
he has a different face sculpt and the saber has a sprue leftover on the end of the hilt,not the correct blaster though the same as mine

Hi Bjorn, I think the Lumat is ledy mate. Was thinking the luke might be to but haven't researched it enough yet, the saber didn't come with the fig but it is the ledy or euro version. What do you think about the luke by looking at the pic?

his saber has the same molding but if it doesnt have the sprue bit at the end of the hilt then its a PBP saber.
LL kuke bespin came with a bespin blue blaster,but due to sellers not knowing they switch it with a normal blaster.
the same happend to me.

Yes Peter, the one on the right has a slightly darker grey, also has a more grey paint to the hands and face. Why do you ask?

Scott, thanks for your confirmation. All this while, going back to 1984 when the US Kenner 77 Backs Emperor figure were available, I always thought they were made in a single shade of Grey that is best represented by your "lighter" Grey figure on the left. It is good to see an actual production Emperor figure that was made in a much darker shade of Grey plastic that brings it closer to the more movie accurate Black Robes worn by the Emperor. BTW I will be purchasing that darker grey plastic version soon for my loose Vintage SW figure collection.

It is really regrettable that Kenner only used the Black plastic moulded (?) Emperor figure for their 77 card back photography, which is much cooler looking than their actual production run Emperors. :scratch:
