Its would mean they get a seperate area to do testing etc

Anyway lets get back on track, were looking for some fan made stuff like display cases, props etc - if you have anything like this then get in touch, plans/blueprints you name it.

I made my own display case out of oak. Is that what you mean? things like that. I could give details on how to make it if thats what you need.

Indeed m8, anything fan made that people can follow to make their own would be handy, detailled plans/dimensions/materials etc

If you can email stuff like that we can add to a new sub section thats to open based on whats been discussed, better pass to a mod/admin/dev tho than paste here so we can get the outlays correct

I will post some pics and send you the dimensions and what it cost me later on.

No worries, you can use paint to rotate the images the correct way up (or hold your moby at the required angle to upright them), that looks a nice case, is it really made of oak? As long as theres dimensions it can be made from any wood id say. Can you fit a full set in there or is it just a custom size you chose for variants etc?

yes mate. I made the sides from Oak and I made the back out of 4mm plywood. I wanted to make the back out of oak as well but it was going to be complicated and I couldnt wait. My other option for the back was a mirror. I will send you all the details by PM with sizes etc and how too's and if you like it you can use it.

I wanted to try and find a way to make the back of a display cabinet with a cardback colour behind each figure, I doubt it would look very tastefully done though

It could be done but it would be hard to set up and as you said it might not look great on the wall

Chaz - you can get mini cardbacks that might be better than just random colours - would look better for what your trying to do perhaps

That was a kit I was bought for my 30th and I built it and painted it. I was so proud of it. Then my son decided he liked it too and he pulled off the wheels and then I lost the light and the mirror.

Nice cabinet mate.
I may do something like that for a second loose collection i'm thinking of putting together (without variants lol - something a bit more accessible to the layman). :?: :!: :?:

It was easy to make and its nice uality. You can get cabinets of ebay already made but there made out of softwood and look mass produced instead of having that custom feel.
