| As the title says I would like to hear about your plans for your Star Wars collection. I am full of ideas but not sure which way to go. I've started down the scary road of MOCs. I don't have enough space as it is. I would like to display as much as possible. I have not lost interest in loose variations but they are starting to get really expensive. A mint loose foreign variation can be equal in value to a decent 12 back. I do not think I could have a character focus. Sounds like I am undecided I like the idea of trading up & really do not like selling. Regardless I am having fun. I would like a plan for 2010. |

| Hard question for now as I don't always look that far ahead but ultimately I would really like to try and save some money and go for a few more pre production items, I foresee 2010 being a slow year for me but I hope that in the next few years I decide on a different route and keep enjoying things. I think my long term plan is to work on a display room BUT that doesn't concern me now, I need to buy a house first |

| Great thread, we done this last year on SWF. I'm going to try and find the thread to look back and see what people's plans were for 2009.
I'm going to try and complete my MOC film release run in 2010.
I'm also going to carry on with bootlegs.
I think my new sideline is going to be foreign MOC, like Takara, Glasslite, Harbert etc. |

My goals for 2010 are - Side Line - Pick a few figures (not many) and try and collect all the variants available. Im gonna go slow working through 1 figure at a time and have started with Dengar. Main Goals (Nothing extravagant lol) Continue collecting C8 - C8+ Tri Logos. Pick up up C8 -C8+ MOC's any issue as long as they have clear bubbles and the price is good. I also plan to pick up the following MOC's - Luke X-wing with a clear bubble (any card), Luke Poncho POTF or Tri Logo as long as the bubble is clear and pick up a nice Luke Stormie Tri Logo for my Luke display as well as loose Luke variants (all luke issues). As it ties in i also plan to continue to build the resources on the main TIG site and hopefully help make this new forum a thriving vintage community I defo think setting some annual goals is a great way to move forward. | 1. completing a full loose set (all licensed figures, all coos, all variants!) 2. completing my bootleg sets: hungarian, uzay, trem 3. building up a lot of dioramas like the emperors arrival 4. buying ONE character (from the ANH, ESB and ROTJ films) from the new lines to fill up those dioramas. I mostly like to have a full cantina set this is a lifetime job for me! so.... getting old--> donation to a museum! wolff

| I think most here know what my main goal will be for 2010 1. Finish the 62 coin set 2. Luke Jedi (ROTJ-A baggie, Lili Ledy loose figure/cardback, Palitoy MOC) 3. Early Bird Certificate After scoring those items I think I will be mostly content with my overall collection. I imagine after that I will be able to focus all attention to Luke Jedi with the exception of one item that I will have to do some saving for which would be a early bird mailer with DT Luke. |

| Err...dunno, lol. I really dunno!
I'm keen on getting there with VISUAL loose variants....i've got a lot out of the way this year, including a lot of the biggies. I'll also maybe add a few more Fett items, although i'm struggling to get into the character focus tbh. Once this is done (which may take a while as i'm not planning on dropping as much cash next year!!) i'm really not sure where to go from there. There's soo many options, i'm just not sure which path to take yet....if any! I could stay with loose variants & do the coo variants a la Wolff. Or do the cat 3+ POTF coins. Or a different more unusual character focus. Or a moc set (likely to be film release). Or, (most likey i think) finish the other foreign lines (Ledy,Glasslite,Takara,Top Toys etc...)
As i said, i really dunno, i think 2010 will be a year i sit back & take stock, & see what happens... |

| Seeing things like this make it harder for me to decide what to do Yes it is beaten up, but for $40 I didn't get it but it was tempting. I must make a plan :noooooo: |

| My future plans for 2010 would be to start up again but I'm only sticking with figures, playsets, and vehichles this time. No more of the odds and ends stuff like games, cups, puzzles, etc. The biggest thing is adding more to my Polish bootleg collection. If things go right, I'll have 38 more to add to it before the years out, that is if no one knocks me out of them. :nailbiting: |

Jay Right now is an excellent time to buy if you're looking at 2nd/3rd Gens. Averaging less than $20 on Evilbay and Michael_Vogt on R/S is selling them cheap as well. I have 1/2 a set of unarts I want to either sell or complete right now. I cant decide |

| Oh yhea, that Stormie is still here. I talked to Rycerzyk on RS awhile back (she wanted the Tri-logo you got) and she said she hasn't seen a complete one with cape in a long time. I'm planning on getting some shots of the few I have to limelight later on.
Right now is a good time to buy, like Berizing said. The prices are low at the moment for 2nd/3rd gens unless its a Fett, those still go for good money. I missed out on two unarts the other day because they ended at 1-2 in the morning, but I did snag a set of 4 Marvel Polish boots though. The first I seen of them. It was Iron Man, Dr. Doom, Thor, and a Shogun Warrior. The unarts are going anywhere between $9-15 each. What I'd like to find are some more sprues to go with the 4 I have now. |

| I have not really decided what to do this year, I don't think I will either. I enjoy buying everything that pops up that I like the look of. I can't really plan anything because I can't see past current listings on eBay and FS threads. To be honest I think what makes collecting so much fun is the uncertainty. In life if you fail to plan then you plan to fail. I think collecting should remain as random, unpredictable and completely unplanned as possible! ....even though I only buy Boushh stuff, makes sense right? |

| I have recently completed my minty loose figure collection. I had plans to expand it to Ledy's, toltoys and glasslite, but I have decided to concentrate on other things. Though I may still pick up the occasional variant or upgrade.
My primary goal is to complete my MIB vehicle run. I especially hope to at last find a Sonic landspeeder.
Also, I'm going to try for a complete European and US Minirig and creature run. This should be a lot of fun and won't take as much room. |

| My main plan for 2010 is to finish off my mint loose figure collection with a focus on only buying 1 varient which takes my fancy. I plan on getting a mixture of lily ledy and glasslite if it means getting a figure that I prefer. Im not as close as I first thought. I still have 52 figures I need so I have a long way to go. I would also like to build my display cabinet so I can start to arrange my figures instead of having them in plastic bags where you cant appreciate them. I would love to go down the MOC route but I dont think I could afford to do that along site the Loose route im going with my expenive taste . I will endevour to get a few MOC's and see where that takes me. Possibly vehicles after that. Last but not least to increase my knowledge base and have a fun time over the coming year with all of you |
