| Just curious to see who is collecting the 12 inch original line here? So far i have Chewbacca ( missing ammo belt and crossbow but nice figure ) He is huge and Freaking awesome! R2-D2- ( beat up but still nice looking, nice death star plans ) The darn plastic joint on 99% of them have yellowed out due to glue or whatever they have used at the time to put the parts together, a shame.... Seethreepio ( nice, a few chips of the chrome tough) Darth Vader ( real nice, just missing original lightsaber ) Jawa ( nice but missing gun and ammo belts ) Luke ( got a couple, I have a complete luke with a crappy blue saber but a super nice Ben lightsaber ) I am missing Leia, Han, Ben, Bobba, Stormtrooper and IG-88. The Bobba will be a challenge... there is plenty but all complete, he commands a big amount. I was planning on collecting them in boxes but it border on insanity for the price. They are just too expensive for me at this time. Loose, you can get away with some super nice figures for a decent price since people seem to let the common figures go for peanuts. anyone got pics of their collection of those? cheers!

| I have Vader, Boba Fett, and the Jawa, all complete. I'd like to add a Stormtrooper, but I'm undecided on the rest. |

| If space wasn't an issue I'd collect them, but I have to draw the line somewhere If you are collecting these though, be careful about storing or displaying them with all their accessories. The flexible vinyl on ammo belts has a tendency to react to the hard plastic and cause melting. From a childhood collection I bought some time ago this reaction was happening to the Jawa through the cloth cape and was causing some bonding to occur. I've heard it can be very bad with the IG-88 ammo belt and Stormtrooper hands have a tendency to just drop off I was tempted the other day though by a Princess Leia figure (doll?) which was loose but in pristine condition, bright white clothing and hair still in the star buns. It looked very old school Star Wars and made me feel nostalgic. It's always good to see these in collections so keep the pics coming! |

| Here are my 12" Figures. Most are complete Boba Fett needs some wookie scalps, Han needs a medal, and Leia needs a new hair-do and some accessories. Oh, and C-3PO is missing that little "nub" piece at the top front of his head as we discussed in another thread. |

| An awesome run of figures Bud I've said it before in your limelight, but super cool collection of 12" figures you got there clint Just Boba Fett for me at the mo, he's missing his cape and grappling hook from the top of his rocket pack but he still looks badass He's by far my favourite vintage 12" figure. I had a Han figure but sold him on ebay to help fund my loose vader focus. I would love to get an Iggy but he's a bit out of my price range at the mo. Would also like to pick up the droids and a Jawa one day. [img] [/img]

| Count me in as well. After reading Dax' post, I will rearrange the flexible accessories to prevent them from reacting. Thank for telling, mate! |

| The 12" is really my favorite. I currently have 3PO, R2, and Luke. My Luke needs his shirt, rope with hook and his belt. I'll find them someday. An IG-88 would make me very happy but finding one complete isn't cheap. I may have to break down and buy an incomplete one. I'd even be happy if he just had his blasters. Had Boba as a kid but he was loved to death. He was a pile of parts by the time my playing days were over. |

Showing them this way shows you how awesome this line really was! The later attempts pale compared to how cool these were. I find them way cooler than the newer Gentle Giants, but i am hardcore vintage so... |

| I got most of these from local fore sale ads. Even the IG-88. If fact, both of the IG-88's that I have found came from local fore sale ads. I usually had to buy the entire childhood collections, but then I'm usually able to sell off anything that I don't need and make my money back. The IG-88, Chewy, Darth, Boba & Stormtrooper you see in my picture were in a lot vintage of toys that I picked up for $250 CAN. So you just have to stay vigilant and patient. |

| Great collections guys! I finally found my pics of Fett and Vader and the Jawa (my collection is still in storage since our move). Vader was the first one I got, a few years ago now on eBay. Then I stumbled upon the Fett for ~$80 and just couldn't pass on it. The Jawa was a collectibles shop find last year. |

| The good thing about this line is that a lot of people have them and let them go at cheap price especially if its missing parts or if it looks super dirty, like a Luke full of juice stains on his shirt. You buy it then you can buy another one until you have all the pieces you need to complete a figure... On one my purchase i got a Ben saber and an Han shirt so i can buy a Ben without saber and it would still be complete and give a new shirt to Han if he would need one plus i can clean up most of those fabric parts... |

| I love the original 12" line I have: - Boba Fett (complete from my own youth) - IG 88 (minus 2 bombs) - Storm Trooper (minus gun) - Jawa (complete) - Darth Vader (complete) - C3PO - R2D2 (complete) - Ben (missing lightsaber) - Chewbacca (only missing a few belt cartridges) Have no pics yet as I am still reorganizing

| I'm starting to really like these...
And as there's so few of them in the line I'm going to keep my eye out. |
