| Yes the gold trim is awesome and the figure is solid. The red part on the sleeves looks bad on the photos but its not that bad. It is really more a sloppy paint job from the factory than anything else. This figure was hardly played with as you can see that the gold trim is like over 90% plus intact and his blue is equal all over which is also hard to find. I wuz luck enough to find one at a very decent price courtesy of Bluesnagman. Now i have to find the white version.. i think it is the Fu Machu mustache dude and another regualr stache so it would be 3 of them technically. I already have him ( Fu Manchu ) but his gold trim is completely gone. I want to find one with perfect paint. cheers! |

| OK, I have this for a little more than a week, but before showing it I wanted to get confirmation on everything being legit about it. Bill McBride, John and Steve, all were kind enough to look at it and say it is legit; not that I really doubted it, but it is nice to get confirmation from those guys!! Thanks fellas! So here it is... my Luke 'Circles' DT! I really wanted a circles variant since I think, save me winning the lottery, this will be the closest thing to pre-production Luke FB stuff I could ever afford. Not that this is pre-production, but it seems the common consensus is that it is among the earlier, if not the earliest DTs made out there. Here is a link to a post from TDA Steve on his a while ago that goes into some more detail and background on it. So, it was something I got lucky on for sure! Center image unaltered - Left Image contrast tweaked - Right Image inverted and contrast tweaked Center image unaltered - Left Image contrast tweaked - Right Image inverted and contrast tweaked Inner saber shown on three different angles (same part, just different views combined) And my display card for it And here it is side by side with my 'regular' DT Yes, the cards are different sizes but for a reason. One will be in my loose FB focus case and the other will be showcased in my display case I am building (still). I have two DTs now, but based on what I see every day I look around ebay or here and RS, the condition of this particular circles DT is fantastic! It is very straight, no bends, no cracks, splits, no real dirt or grime, no teeth marks, good flashing... the works! And here are some of the coolest things about it...
I think I got a really good deal on it to begin with. I had an open and honest seller before, during and after the sale. YOU MUST READ THIS!!!!I asked the seller after I got it if he by chance knew what variant this DT originally came with since the one it was sold with was a 3 Line COO brown eye'd one which I was fairly certain wasn't correct. He didn't reply to that message. Rather, he MAILED ME the correct one I thought it was... FOR FREE!!!!!! I didn't ask. I didn't offer to buy. I just inquired if he knew what one it was!!!! Two days after I sent the email asking him the question, a package showed up with a 2 Line Large HK COO Luke with brown eyes and a little note simply saying "this is the correct Luke for that DT". I don't know about you, but man, that blew my mind!!!!! He replied the next day, but it was too funny. One hell of a seller! If every ebay seller was like that, ebay would be paradise! Anyway......... I am very happy now! Now if that package from Brasil would finally arrive, my Luke FB focus can take a break for a while! hehe cheers! |

| I knew when I first saw it, it was incredible! It's a beautiful example my friend. Congrats! I love the story about the Luke brown eye 2 line coo. That's a great seller for you! Last night I went on a little rant regarding the ethics of selling, and even had my message/photo deleted by a webmaster on another site. It probably was inappropriate of me to post a jackass picture : ) To hear your story makes me smile. It's nice knowing people do stuff like that for total strangers. Again, congrats : ) Steve |

| Steve that is hilarious. I wondered what it was that got edited in that cluster of a thread. That op totally handeled things wrong in my opinion anyway not to mention what he did with the whole unsealing thing with that. Jay this is a fantastic piece to add to your collection. If it isnt to much trouble shoot me a pm with the sellers name as that is somebody worthy of buying from. I don't know if anyone would have a problem with the seller's name posted but it may be worth while to see. It is great when sellers go out of their way to help collectors. |

| Sorry for my rant! I had a huge issue how it was removed from the Kenner baggy for grading and secondly how things were ended on the selling end. I have had handshakes over the internet in the past and have always held true. It always comes down to trust and friendship.... I keep learning! That goes FAR above money NOW! : ( |

Thakns! I really only count 2 Grails right now... the circles DT and the VC Jawa. I have a few 'Chalices'... regular DT, Popy farmboy, Blue Snags, Lili Ledy Blonde Leia Bespin and of course my Palitoy Vader. And a few Solo Cups here and there as well. Am I missing something??? Beyond that, I have a few grails I would love to have, but sadly, I think I will only have the chance at one which would be a non-AFA, Luke Farmboy 12A without DT. My top grail would be an EP or First shot Luke FB... second to him would be a 12A White Footer (hell, any footer!) Luke DT ... but I will never have the cash nor chance at those and no one in the family to will them to me, so I will be going for a straight up 12A Luke at some point, but not on ebay! Luke FB carded on ebay seems to be my ultimate thorn in the side. Anyway......... I am very happy for the Circles DT - herein known to me as CDT. cheers and Happy 4th to us Americans! |

| I will need to be rich to get the grail ones, unless I got them off someone I trust because I would want them graded I would pay lots more for piece of mind. |

| I completed my set today. Thankfully, under my own rules, I can pinch a rebel blaster from a spare Han Solo to complete him. |

| Thanks Fortuna. I had actually considered my loose-with-accessories set complete by thinking of the Blue boy as a variant, hence why he was last. But then I thought 'what the hell'. And, yeah, he is at the upper end of the condition I was prepared to pay for with my budget, so I'm chuffed with him. Reasonably good paintwork to the hair and belt but scuffed boots. |

| I agree. So many Blue Snags are touched up, especially on the boots. I think yours is great, just as is : ) |

I actually consider him a stand alone figure, i know theres been a million debates about it, but i recon he is a stand alone iconic figure that was a mistake to start off with, no collections complete without him imo, same as the yak, i realise yak was never released in the states but he is part of the run and an iconic piece. Love your snag mate, nothin touched up on that baby..... |
