Final straw was broken..... This time I'm just getting it all gone. Hobbys are supposed to be fun, this is no longer fun. I was having fun building the site, that'll now just sit there unfinished..... I can imagine how bittersweet it would be packing this up and shipping out. I'd have to put back a couple glasses of Canada's finest whiskey before, during and after.

I have know idea why you are giving up your hobby and it's none of my business so I won't ask.

However I have a lot of respect for you.....

1) If these items can pay off your mortgage, go for it. I bet there are a lot of people around here wishing they could sale off a few star wars toys and do that (I am one!)

2) The fact that you decided to split the collection instead of selling it whole gives other people a chance to own a "smaller" piece of uzay history.

Lastly....These items are superb!!

I appreciate the concern. This isn't a "hissy fit" as some douchebag on a forum I can't post on has attempted to write it off as....such balls some people have when I can't even reply to them directly..... THESE kinds of people are why this hobby is not for me any longer. This is a long time coming, and the LIE that that person is perpetuating may have been the straw that broke the camels back, but make no mistake, it's only the items and the few people I consider trusted friends that have kept me here.

I wish I could say something to make you reconsider selling your collection. It's guys like you that got me fascinated, and into collecting bootlegs. You're the bootleg guru. We need guys like you in the bootleg community. I'm saddened!

Don't be....just buy some stuff and build your collection. I've had my day in the sun in this hobby. Nothing to regret. Just time to move on.

Boy like all others have said Joe I hope you do reconsider this. I have only spoke with yourself a couple of times via Pm and bought my ESB c-3po proof from you.

But like everyone has said you have done wonderful things for this Hobby and I am more shocked and saddened that things have lead to you selling the best collection of Uzay in the world and even worse getting out of the hobby. Your knowledge is astounding and I would like to Thank you for some of the best posts and reads in this hobby.

I was even looking forward to meeting you some time at one of the Celebrations - I guess now that will never happen.

I've been watching this thread unfold since this morning. Joe, I only know bits and pieces of what you have been going though since C6, same as everyone else on this site. I'm pretty sure the majority of us are all behind you what ever the problems.

I really hope you put a stop to this SF thread before it's too late and you regret what you've done. Don't let a few "Fucktards" from another site, get the better of you. If you do this, you'll let them win. You have far more people that covet your views and opinions on a subject that you have helped bring to the fore front of this collecting "community".
It seemed like a huge coup when you started here on TIG and started "The Outer Realm" bootleg section. Like many others, I knew almost nothing about bootlegs before that. It makes me both angry and sad that we are on the verge of losing such an authority on the subject.

I just don't know what else to say.

OK, it is not of my business, but I hope the potential Head Man buyer is slowing down the negotiations a bit, buying you some time to think things over.

I am saving the pictures, etc for this thread, as there is NO fucking way an Uzay collection like this will ever and I mean EVER come up for sale again. I want those Head Man Molds and MOC Blue Stars so bad, but know they will go fast.. Good luck Joe..
