| Just thought a little coveting thread might be fun. Since people are into different things , I wanted to see what people found desirable. It's not a contest or anything. And you can't say you're happy with yours (which you hopefully all are). Just a bit of fun.
I wish I had Mark Yeo's collection because of the rarity of some items. The Takara R2 display, the shrink wrapped Canadian figs are just so badass. It's like every part of the collection is uber rare.
Nice stuff Mark! |

Thats quite an honor...thanks Stefan! Mark Yeo has a one of kind collection, so good choice John. Im personally only collect loose....so....I should choose a loose collection! Hmmm. ..thats a tough choice, now that I nearly have fullfilled my goals. Joe_Y's collecton comes into my mind, but then I would mostly have bootlegs only?!??! And I guess others will choose this as well.....because it is simply a stunning one! Oli's and Steve's also comes into my mind...their preproduction stuff is awesome too! But I will choose one of those you can only assume what there will be...yes...I'm a gambler!! I think I will go with Lee_M's collection.....you dont know it?? Well nobody does. ....I would love to see it one time before I die!! (And I'm pretty sure this would be the last collection I could learn sth from production figures wise...wait a second....Javis collection would also be very interesting...and hiding in the shadows...at least the spanish part!) |

| I'd like the collection of a total noob who has nothing. For me the joy is in the hunting for pieces, so to own nothing opens up every possibility of an exciting purchase |

| I agree with Mete. I wish I had Sansweet's collection because I could sell half , have enough money to enter the Dakar this year & have enough Star wars left over to fill my house to the ceiling |

| So many truly stunning collections to choose from. My collection is rather pathetic in comparison to many others which is one reason I haven't done a limelight yet.
I am thinking that Marco's/ Dr. Dengar's collection would probably be pretty extensive. His limelight hasnt been updated for a while but from following along in the PBP/Poch thread and the Ledy thread he must have bought a ton of those lines by now. I am thinking I would choose his. And he has a really nice Jabba's palace display also.
Of course Wolff's and Lee's collections probably rival any loose figure collections ever put together and for pre production stuff Oli's and Steve's are really great too. |

| I don't know the name of the guy, but there is one collector that pops up ever now and then on the Travel Channel's show "Toy Collector" that has an AMAZING collection.
This guy looks like maybe a professional BMX'er or rocker, etc.
Jordan Hembrough brought him a rocket firing Fett (for $20,000) and maybe the Holy Grail of Holy Grails in Star Wars.... the wax sculpt for the vintage Boba Fett 3 ¾ actionfigure. They only did one, and this was the original… that all the others were cast from. I can't remember how much it went for, but it was more than I make in a couple of years. |

| I wish I had Josh's collection because....... One moment I would be sittng in a room enjoying all the Dengar items with a beer, And 2 minutes later, I would be walking on the beach searching for tropical sea shells at the West Australian coast. And I could do this every day without getting bored. |

That's it.... from what I've seen, it's unreal. When Jordan finds something rare, he goes straight there and he buys it on the spot, no matter the cost. The wax Fett is unbelievable. |

| Now this is a hard question, that I have been thinking about for most of the day and even now I'm no closer to having a real truthful answer as there are loads of bits of loads of collections I would like. but if I put it down to size and content it would have to be one of the best collections I think I have seen in a long time and that is the collection of Jeffs_Museum as I love the layout, content and it looks like the place where i could just relax in. |

| I wish I had various portions of many of your guys collection for the simple fact that I'm still in a 'No focus stage of being the noob here ' I will have to do my research more thorough of your collections and post another reply. But I will say until then that I am in envy for the monetary value of collections I've seen here at TIG due to seeing the crazy current market price of some of your pieces |

| Hey John I am humbled and honoured for you to think of my collection in that way. I am now a covetee LOL. But seriously, I think it still has a long way to go ... there are really some tremendous black hole collections that are mind boggling to say the least. If I had to pick a collection I wished I had, I would say Arnaud Grunberg's collection. Don't know the full extent of what he has but from what was exhibited at the Paris Louvre and what can be found on the net - just wow wow and more wow Cheers, Mark |
