| Haters gonna hate. Seriously. Some of the shit that spews out of some of these fucktards, really isn't worth worrying about. If they have to hide in, members only, off topic sections of certain forums, to spew their shite....it speaks volumes about the intellect on display. |

| Just an update.
We have 38 who've paid. The 2 others have until midnight. If they do not pay , then the two backups will be in. They've both paid in either event so we are officially underway. Look for a drawing tomorrow! |

I thought so, it seems it's not the consensus.
Since one particular person seems to feel it is, I've asked him to audit my raffles. If I've made more than I should I'll donate that total amount to charity. D.B., You have always been super in my book. As in 'charity' you mean keeping this website up and running, then I agree. Armchair critics |

| Well since the drama has spewed over here I might as well break my silence. No one ever said you weren't fair John. No one ever said you never gave the money you claimed for charity. Like I said over there you are taking this way too personally. It really boils down to exactly what Dennis said here. - Quote :
- Same Here, i am sure this is lots of fun, but i dont play along out off principle.
To me this is just a clever way to get the amount you want for something, when you cant get it sold for that money.
Some might not share my opinion, but that is the reason i dont play along Tell me is that not exactly what you are doing John? Regardless of extra going to charity or your opinion that you value your items fairly? This whole thing started because someone decided to ask what others thought of raffles that cost money. This is the only site that does them. It's great that some can get behind it and others feel a little differently about it. It was just a few people discussing what they thought. |

| Er...Edd ran one on SWFUK. And there wasn't even a prize listed, just send money to enter .Prize was something he would buy with the money at the end of raffle, at his own discretion. No one had a problem with that...well...except me Only because I would of preferred the cash, but I wasn't the only one who suggested maybe the cash could be the prize though...if that's what the winner wanted. Amazing how things are forgotten so quickly. |

That's not what I take umbrage with. Read those pages. There are some direct references to me padding value. One directly says I could sell my Blue Stars for $600 or raffle it and double my money. It's pretty clear.
My challenge to Joe O was to put into the test. Check me. I could very well have overdone it. Ifi did, I'll donate any ill gotten gains to charity. But I suspect that if he checks he won't find much. |

Maybe next time you can work that out for yourself? Or, perhaps I go with diagrams also, for the slow learners, just in case?
Just Joshin. LOL Josh, you and I will get along quite we'll. I would love to see some diagrams, possibly a Gantt chart and a process map as well. |

And just like with John's, I did not participate on that one. Funny how you're okay with them now though. People can read how those went down though if they want. http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12046 http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11919 |

| Personally , I think the way the raffle is being run is very fair . I don't see where any extra money is being made but , even if there was so what ? I am sure that running the site isn't free and if a little extra cash goes toward the site owner it is for a great cause . Its nice to have a site that is so cool and informative and you can't say Fucktard just anywhere Which , by the way , Fucktard is my new favorite word ... Thanks Josh , you are truly a inspiration :grr: I know lots of Fucktards and pretty soon they will be aware of being one |

| What do you mean funny I am okay with them now though? I have gone in plenty of John's raffles. If you remember correctly it was ME, who showed Edd it was okay to run a raffle in the first place...remember the link i provided which stated the rules for raffles in the UK? Or you forgotten how it actually went down?...or just the bits you want to forget? If you are here to defend your pal, let him grow some balls and come here and piss and moan about it. The way you guys fall over yourselves to "help" each other out is becoming fucken ridiculous, Shawn. Feel free to share the bits you like to stir some more shit.

Yes, that one is certainly a case in point, but I didn't see a big pile up of agreement on that. I'll say I don't agree with that either, but is one or a couple people's opinion on value really worth all this trouble? All I suggested was that I think a 3rd party involved to determine value ons something like this would look better. I'm just skimming the thread again, but I don't even see Joe saying it was worth $600, so I'm not sure why you are directing your challenge at him. Like I saw over there, it is what it is. People like raffles and people don't. Big deal! Anyway, I'm done. I just thought it was poor form to post this in the middle of the raffle that people are enjoying. There was no need to and as Josh pointed to even see the thread on the other board you have to be a registered member. |

Honestly, I will admit I don't recall all the fine details on that one where like I said I didn't participate. That whole ordeal is between you and Edd. I'm not here to defend my "pal" but rather how that whole thread went down. I still think John is taking it personal whe it was just some criticism in on how running a raffle looks to some. That is all there is to it really. Anyway, I'm done. Please, enjoy the raffle and congrats to the winners when they're announced! |

| I don't want to contribute to this train wreck. I promised myself some time ago I'd ignore the drama on the boards and just say "nice collection" and "WOW!!! I have to get one of those." when needed. And I've already PMd John my feelings on this matter. But I can't stop myself.
Basically this is how I see this thing. John is running a raffle for a cool figure. I guess some guys see this as a shady way of John getting more than the "market value" of a figure. WHO FUCKING REALLY CARES!!!!!!??????? Bunch of fucktards with too much of a high view of their own opinions. And what really grates on me is it seems it's a topic of conversation on some other site. Come over here and chat about it if you're so wound up about it.
I say John fuck em. You don't owe anyone any sort of audit or anything else. We're having a little fun. Paying a little money of our own free will. And that's that.
My dad always said that anyone who is so quick to call soemone else a crook must be some crooked themselves. |

| My 2 cents, the raffle is a clever way to boost Members into being more active on the boards as Well as bringing in new members case closed ! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out john Could make more money selling this figure outright On the boards ,hell I'd pay 1200 right now for it to Stop the bullshit! PS everyone is forgetting turk got Over 1000 for his Loose one and johns looks to be In better shape . He knows he can get at least what the raffle will bring So let's get on with it I 'm having Gambling withdrawal ! Lol |

| It's so disheartening to me to see a raffle for such a cool figure reduced to squabbling. Sometimes I hate what has happened to this hobby -- scammers have manipulated people so much over the years that even the most trusted of people have to be questioned. |
