My lovely misses has brought me a vintage Max Rebo Band for my birthday. Love it, never had one as a kid so a bit special.

However its misisng some bits, notibly Droopy McCools woodwind instrument and Max Rebo's microphone.

It does come with Snootles microphone but its dark grey. When referencing this it appears it should be silver? So are there various varients of the instrument/microphones?

As far as I am aware the Rebo band comes with either silver microphones & a black instrument for Droopy McCool, or black microphones & a silver instrument. Can you post a picture of your grey one?

They do come in both colors. Let's see some pics and see what you got (besides a nice wife who buys you SW stuff) !

This is true.

However after a closer look you are quite right, its black, not dark grey. My bad.

So Im needing a piano for Max, and a matching black microphone and silver instrument for Droopy.

Looking over ebay, the piano is out there bit cant find a black mike or silver flute for love nor money.

This is going to be tuff ..oh well..cool figures
