Starting from the top left there's #3 HK 3 line #6 HK 3 line #8 China #7 China, maybe both china are found on ROTJ cards? #5 No coo, found on Palitoy Tri-Logos and some times with a Bespin saber. #1 Dark brown hair, Kenner US Cards #1 blond hair #1 blond hair(maybe the same as last) #2 blond hair(not positive on the COO) |

| Two single telescoping LFB, LEFT: 3 line. Hong Kong. #3. RIGHT: 1 line. Looks like #5. There is a 2nd line with smoothed remnants of 'Hong Kong' just visible under light and magnification. |

| First question. All of the China Lukes that I own/ have owned & those currently posted here have blonde hair. Does anyone know of, or own a brown hair version? Or do all China Lukes have blonde hair? cp |

And I know we aren't supposed to comment with "WOW or COOL!" but that TolToys 12back cardback is very cool! I don't think I've ever seen one for a Farmboy Luke. Is there a confirmed MOC one? TolToys ROTJ's are getting incredibly rare and expensive, I can't imagine a MOC 12back! |

| So... I've always wondered... what's the main difference between a Glasslite farmboy and a "regular" farmboy?
All I've ever seen is photos of Glasslite's and I'm not really sure I would know one from Adam if I just stumbled across it.
EDIT: as an additional thought... can we label what each COO difference is? Like if the 3 Line COO is specific to the DT's etc. Instead of just 1, 2, 3, etc. I think it might be helpful for the casual observers/questions. |

| Here are three of my no coo Lukes And their coo’s, left to right: The first is the same as RetroRewindToys’ figure that he’s labelled as coo #5, however it’s coo is not yet shown on Wolff’s guide (although he’s well aware of it’s existence ) – it comes from the same mould as Retro’s figure #12 but with the HK removed. The second figure pictured has coo #5. These two figures as Scott has said can be found on some Palitoy and Trilogo cards. Years ago it was thought they could be separated into a Pal & Tri variant but it’s now believed these are simply the same variant with legs from different moulds / mould cavities. The third has no coo markings, but slight marks can be seen where the coo should be (so not a prototype ). It is currently thought to be a figure that came from a well used mould (where the coo in the mould got all gunked up). I haven’t seen another Luke like it but have heard rumour of maybe a couple more out there? Anybody got a similar Luke / know it’s origin? @ Retro, your blank bar “Meccano / French Trilogo” Lukes are cool – do you have any specific info on which cardbacks they turn up on? Cheers! Anybody want to speculate (if we’re allowed ) where they were made? I think it’s interesting that the blank bar Luke mould was so widely travelled. Lukes found in Europe (mainly France), Brazil - the Glasslite figure & also Mexico too??!! Any Ledy experts or long-timers from RS know any more about Pedro’s uncovering of blank bar Lukes amongst Ledy overstock back in the 90’s? Was a Lili Ledy Luke planned? While we’re talking about moulded Luke legs, has anyone in Spain spotted a moulded leg Luke? There was a mythical Luke Caminacielos molded leg figure rumoured to exist, coming from very early cards – no figure has ever surfaced (beware any appearing on eBay now I’ve typed this ) As for Spanish Lukes, here’s a link to the Poch ESB 41 back Luke from the Archive – normal painted legs (but slightly darker paint) & here’s a pic of a “PBP” dark haired Luke that was for sale a year or two ago (I thought I had a pic of the cardback it came with??). Has anyone saved that pic / have a shot of one carded? & a quick shot of the coo of my 'Spanish' Luke thought to have come from a later PBP card (alongside a pretty much identical ‘normal’ HK figure). Rog. |

Excellent idea. I think that would help more in the long run if we did do that. Not onl;y would it help the members now, but future members also. Heres my two now I got a minute to take a pix. Polish Unarts. |

| I've got several blonde hair Lukes and 1 brown hair. Not sure of the COO's and they're packed away and I'm too lazy to dig them out right now. I never really paid much attention to COO's before but this is a cool thread that has sparked my interest in figures that I have multiples of. My question is what makes a true orange hair Luke (not discoloring). What should someone look for when trying to find one? Here's my favorite Luke FB in my collection - Polish unart with green saber: |
