| Here we can discuss, post pics and ask questions about Turkish Uzay figures, and all variations. I'll be looking to put together an Uzay weapons guide soon. I may need help with pics,as there are a couple of weapons variations that I don't have (gasp) and I'm also not the best photographer. For now here is the article on the archive that desperately needs updating.

| The previous pic that you'd sent me it looked almost painted over. This pic is much better. Most of the repros that I've seen are glossy, So I'm as sure as I can be w.o having it in hand, that it's legit. Looks good !!!
Cheers Joe |

| The uzay stuff is by far the most interesting. Years ago I had a chance to buy a stormtrooper and chewy at a garage sa le, before I started collecting and didn't know what they were now I totally regret it. |

| Mete, I've already started taking pics for the updated Uzay article, I posted a message on the list, with stuff I could use for pics (at the moment) So far I've got new hi res pics of ALL of my carded Uzays, All of my loose Uzays, and tomorrow after work, I'll be taking macro shots of all of the weapons I have. IF you haven't seen the message on the list, here's what I need pics of: Carded figs : Dot chest Vader, Light cape ERG, stripe arm Stormtrooper, alt bubble Blue Stars, Light grey boot Tie Pilot. Loose: Dark cape ERG, dark boot Tie Pilot, thick boot & any chest variant Blue Stars, helmet variant AtAt Driver. Weapons: Silver Headman sword, all gold Headman shield, blue Stormtrooper gun, blue long Tie Pilot gun, both colors short Tie Pilot gun, blue Hothtrooper rifle. It's 5:20 am here, I've been up all night taking pics, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but those are the pics that even this tired I know I need.
ALSO...I'm firmly of the belief that ALL Uzay C3po AND Death Star Droids have removable limbs.
Cheers and Thanks!! Joe |

I have a fully intact ATAT driver rifle and a short lightblue Tie rifle. Let me know if I can help! Cheers Wolff |

| Thanks Joe and Mete for all the hard work behind the scenes. This should be a great guide. Hope you guys don't encourage too many more people to collect Uzays, I'll never get any more BTW, Mete and I sort of buried the hatchet (again) and if he would come to C6, I'm sure we'd be good drinkin' buddies by the end of the con. Or get in a fist-fight, one or the other |

| Hehe, dude I'm much more interesting in becoming smoking buddies rather than drinking :smoking2: Me and Andy's little quarrel was nothing more than a series of misunderstandings and over-reactions on both our parts. We're both decent dudes who are a little too nerdy about SW stuff for our own good. I'm hoping to make it to CVI but my twin sis is pregnant and due that weekend and I want to be around for it I do have a room booked at the Rosen...I might still end up going. Not sure yet! |

| Mete and Andy, I'm glad you two buried the hatchet. Sounds like all kinds of positive things are happening in our little bootleg world. Joe, as always, amazing. It's really great to have high quality pics of those figures available, as the SWCA is the only place i know where people can see your collection, and those pics are pretty small and thumbnaily. Awesome, inspirational stuff. |

Awesome, inspirational stuff. I too am glad that you guys buried the hatchet. I saw what was happening and was hoping that it wouldn't, and honestly didn't think that it would turn into the kind of long term hate that exists between, say, me and Kim or what came out of the blue from Adam as he showed his true colors while burning his bridges in his exit from the community. Enough of the negative that we've been thru, this is a New Bootleg Order,or would Bootleg World Order be better...(more shirt ideas...bwahahaha). Joking aside, there's really a sense of unity growing right now, and everything that you contribute, you will get your share of the credit for. That said. Mete, please continue to do the licensed vs Uzay comparison shots, for the identification guide it'll be great. If you could format them the same as the loose pics I'm posting tonight, that'd be great. Dylan, the Archive's Uzay section has been outdated for over a decade. Had Gus made me an editor when that was an option, the bootleg section there would be beyond comprehension at this point. But we're here on TIG and can do just that here. Also I know that there's been some concern over the Uzay weapon guide. IF the majority want to keep the rarer weapons as a private access resource, we could do that, but I think that it'll help us to have the majority of them viewable. And regardless of what WE decide on that pics of the back of the shield (the handle etc) will be kept on the "secret" lists pic archive if posted anywhere. That we can put to a vote, either here or privately. Cheers Joe |

| Im not on the "list", but I would have to say to keep the back of the shield private, Joe. If anybody has any doubts about it, your just a pm or email away to answer it. Thats one thing I dont want to see happen with those again, someone else being able to make good copies of those. |

Hope you make it. And smoking would be optimal but my buddy who has a contact in Tampa isn't going this year, so only alcohol for me this time Here's my addition to the uzay guide. I only have a 4 megapixel camera and I had to take these quick with the kids running around, so I can reshoot them when I get a chance and if I can get a better camera sometime soon, I can help a little more. Blue Stars MOC with variant larger bubble Close up of variant painted chest notch(blue instead of green) Notice there's no paint on wrist or shoulder, but thankfully has full back paint. My theory was that this one was not brought with the others to the USA with the "big score" and like others wish I could find some more loose paint variants. |

| Then the drinks are on me, dude...lovely MOC. Now I'm reminded why I wanted it so bad as well that blue paint is pretty interesting, have never seen that. I challenge any one out there to argue there is a cooler figure than a Blue Star! |

Tomorrow I'll be adding weapons and molds. ..... I've got some good weapons shots,of the ones I don't currently own, from friends and will be taking pics of mine tomorrow night.

| Andy, if you can take pics of it out of the acrylic case, and at as close to the same angle/size as the ones I've used, email it to me and I can resize it to match the ones currently up there, and add it to the big post tomorrow.
Thanks Joe |

Joe, excellent update on the reference pictures, looking forward to see the rest. FWIW this is my Uzay collection, do not think there are any mentionable variants among them, if so please LMK and I'll shoot some close-ups. ~Martijn |

| Joe, thanks so much for showing off your unique set in good quality. Its alsways exciting to look at these. I was wondering how many loose near mint dsd and r2's are around. It must be in single digit numbers. These figures make a carded vlix look common. Beautiful and thanks again! I suggest this new section may attract moore bootleg collectors (if they can afford it :-) ) thanks |

| This is my BS-i owe it all to you Joe! I once had a carded and traded it. I regretted it for ages and was very excited to get a 2nd chance. This will be locked up in my collection. I might be tempted one day with a loose one but I am sure that I will never be left again without a complete BS loose or carded :-) Feels quite good! Thanks, Mike[img] [/img] |
