This was a thread a few of you will have taken part in before, its a lot of fun and as so many of us have interest in lots of Vintage areas, be it coins, figures, posters, prototypes or whacky stuff like the Japanese toys and games etc it really gives us a chance to see some items we don't usually get to see as well as the stories as to why they are so important to you!


1. You must take a picture of the five items in one shot (its a great excuse to get your toys out and it gives us something to look at!)

2. Please try to write a short description of each piece and why it belongs in your top five items (Pictures are great but often the stories are even better!)

That's it! This worked really well in the past and I can guarantee that many of the people that have taken part in this thread before have a different top 5 now!

I will quickly start with my OLD top five from 2009..



Last year my top five consisted of :

1. Clipper 8D8 MOC AFA 80- This MOC I tracked for about 2 years believe it or not and was finally secured for by a good friend!

2. ESB Yoda MOC - Yoda is another character I really like and I scored this MOC for $9.99 on ebay.com so for that reason it was in my top five, great character and great price!

3. Childhood 8D8 figure - Yes that really is my original 8D8 - Priceless

4. Lili Ledy Overstock Emperor Head - Just a neat piece, it is also a short shot so its a little warped and out of shape!

5. Blue Snaggletooth - Well, I sold my original Snaggy to help fund a trip to Romania a long time ago, that trip got me married so it was a fair trade haha - My wife bought me this Snag to replace the one I sold

Once this thread starts getting some new replies and pictures I will update with my all new Top Five as well

Welcome back

Well, I will be selling as soon as I have everything together. There are a few pre prod items that just don't seem to want to arrive!

I have been collecting for roughly eighteen months and the Boushh focus is coming up on a year old, my secret goal was to see what I could put together in a year. I will get a couple of group shots with everything in one place, then I'm done.

If and when I come back to collecting it will be full on pre production and nothing with '4+' on the packaging! Not that that's a bad thing, just difficult to justify the price tag.

Anyway, well off topic so sorry about that! I did see your post mate, think pretty much the same of yourself. Were even on a similar hunt too!

I like that story and if Mattias has his hands the other one then they'll be like hens teeth no doubt!!

I'll try to get a close up picture of the RC next weekend.

It probably is a prototype and I can get a better close up from this than the trilogo poster (same picture used imo).

The Vader cardboard header I traded with a very well known dutch collector for a few polish bootlegs I had and did not like. Also got the Boba Fett poster from the same. I still love these two pieces.

As for the Vader Rack - I bought it ages back and the girlfriend I had at this time just called me crazy when the parcel arrived, after she got the answer to her question where this thing should find its place she did not speak with me for a day (was a good silent time at this point )

Never ever - I have some kind of a black hole collection here: Every thing I got doesn't leave it any more (except I have two or more of it)...

So I kept my small Kenner Baggie collection, the paperwork collection, the loose collection, the cardback collection (just sold a few of them), etc.

How about a new rule for this thread? You are only allowed to post coments after you showed your top five?
