| The hollow Tube Tusken Raider is found MOC and only on ROTJ Cards (Not SW,ESB etc) without checking i believe its limited to Kenner 65 backs but i may be wrong.

Scott, the Bossk on the extreme right is a custom touched up job. As far as I know the production ones were never painted this way and here is a picture of the hard copy painted Prototypes of the first wave of Kenner TESB figures that featured this UNIQUELY painted version of Bossk : where this protoype painted Bossk is shown together with the other painted prototype figures from this page in the PALITOY 1980 Toy Catalog : |

Scott You are welcome Scott, sharing information is but another part of learning for me. Most certainly its a custom paint job, where the paint used did not stick to your Bossk figure on the extreme right. Did you pick it up from eBay? IF I had done the custom paint scheme myself I would have removed the waxy sheen from the surface of a vintage Bossk figure and used Humbrol Enamel Semi Gloss Black and Pale Grey for my project. - jaymassive619 wrote:

Jay Actually the Hollow Tube Tusken Raider is not just limited to the Kenner 65 Backs. There is a specimen that provided the evidence that it was also released on Return of the Jedi 79 card backs - just click onto the yellow wordings to view this specimen. |

Thanks for beeing not upset wbobafett, no worries. I obtained that painted prototype group picture from either one of these online sources : www.theswca.com or perhaps from one of the online Vintage Star Wars collector's forums (not from TIG, which I'm sure). Therefore these are not my figures.

The Bossk was off ebay, got it when I first started the collection. Great info there again but don't give them to much of a idea how lol - javiswspain wrote:

| Is there a way I can remove the paint of Bossk's legs without damaging the plastic or the rest of the paint on his boots?
Thanks Scott |
