Thought I would contribute a little as well, my pictures aint organized but I got this video recorded at the end of last winter.
That's my little girl. And yeah I can't really help talking to her like that also she is quiet independent and seems like she rather explore stuff on her own. I better also note that she runs over that log normally without any problems. if it don't work since unlisted and you want to see it, try this https://youtu.be/cqIVxyTBaR8

I think poor Floyd is not sleeping but intoxicated.
BTW: Great story Paul, about Rudy accompanying you at work every day.

Marco- Floyd does have a thing for feet and shoes. I'll be sitting at the computer and he starts picking at my sandals and I have to take them off so he can roll all over them. It's almost like cat nip for him or something. And then he falls aslep on them.

Well, got a new addition to the family that we didnt need. This is Wolvie. We're thinking that is a bobcat mix because of the tail. At least thats what we're being told anyway. Its a stray that popped up at the house last week.
Wanted a close up. Yes its climbing up my leg. Wouldnt have been so bad if I wasnt wearing shorts at the time. :noooooo:

This is one of my favourite OT Of Topic Threads on the forum its great to see how many vintage collectors are also animal lovers
As many know this year has been a tough one for me and i will be glad to see the back of it now one of the hardest things about leaving Louise (my girlfriend of 7 years) after i caught her cheating was that she has the dogs
Anyways times moved on me and Lou are civil and this weekend gone i had the older boxer Kaede over mine for the weekend we had an awesome time! I hadnt seen her in 2 1/2 months but she went crazy with excitement as soon as she saw me and was my shadow all weekend We are working out arrangements were she will stay over 2 weekends a month.
Anyways Kaede is a real character and is such a big softy i made a video of her battling a desktop Dalek from Dr Who i posted it on Facebook and i am going to add it to this thread in the next 10 mins

Funny video, Jay!
Kaede seems like a really nice dog, good that you could work out some arrangements with Louise.
I agree with you, this is one of the best threads on TIG.

Pluk the Cat......
...while accompanying me while making pics for this thread http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t4137-potb-project-outside-the-box#67822
She is a 13 years old female cat to which all alpha male cats show their respect in our neighborhood. They don't want to risk a fight with her.
EDIT: Unfortunately Pluk has left us but she still there..

Like many of you we have a family cat, but I also have a number of reptiles & amphibians. Some of which are shown below.
They are all captive bred as I don't agree with these animals being taken from the wild to supply the pet trade.

Beautiful pets, Steve!
The milksnake reminds me to coral snakes, but I guess this one is not toxic.
It also brought back memories to the hobby of one of my housemates in college, who was holding green tree pythons in the basement. Beautiful animals, quite aggressive as well (not toxic BTW). He was breeding them and had set up a system to control humidity and the amount of (artificial) moonlight in order to stimulate the fertility of the snakes. I don't remember the details, but it was a great basement, sometimes there were parties, drinking beer, with ACDC music and green pythos all around you, that was fun! He was studying to become a veterinarian, so I guess he knew what music was best for the snakes.

Cheers Marco, I thought I would bring something different to the party!
As you rightly say Miksnakes are non-vemomous, but they have evolved to mimic the venomous Coral Snake as a means of avoiding predation.
I've also had experience with Green Tree Pythons. They are rare & definately not for handling. Kudos to your former house mate for breeding them as they can be very difficult! One of the few snake species where the hatchlings are a different colour to the adult form (but I'm sure you already know that).
Keeping exotics has become increasingly popular in recent years, but unfortunately a lot of owners don't know what they are doing. As a result I've acquired several 'rescue' animals.
At some point I'll post up pics of my other... 'pets'.

heres my baby Tira (short for Tiramasu) - she's a 4 yr old Chocolate Dapple Dachshund . She's mostly a good dog except that one time she chewed up a Black POTF Palace Blaster - bad doggie
It was my fault because I accidently dropped it on the floor and didn't realize until it was too late ....
heres a couple of her when she was a puppy :
just woken from a little nap.........
more recent pics...
She is the smartest dog I have ever had - sits , lays down , rolls over , shakes hands , sits up , gives high fives , speaks , sings (howls on command) , spins in circles , plays dead (when I point my finger at her like a gun) , jumps hurdles and alot more . My wife and I have actually had more of a chalange trying to think of new tricks to teach her than the dog has learning them

Really enjoyed seeing member's pets in this great thread. I am dog person, and it is true when they say that a dog is mans best friend. Here are my buddies, both are male Border Collies.
""TIGGA"" 5 yr old, loves the beach.
""ROCKY"" 1 yr old, loves his ball.

Tigga, Rocky, Tira welcome to TIG.
(and thanks for posting, James and Oscar)
James, you should learn Tira to track down repro blasters and chew on them.
