| Doctor who is a girl? I know next to nothing about dr who and have wanted to watch some of the shows but the only ones I have seen are all men. Guessing the dr's brain is transferred or something or how does it work that there was a gender change? |

It's always been possible for the Doctor to change gender as far as I know. the Doctor changes identity periodically through a transformation known as 'regeneration'. Show-wise, It's been on the cards for a while that the BBC might one day hire a female actor to play the role, and with the new series showrunner team that has previously worked with the actress (Jodie Whittaker) who now plays the 13th Doctor, it's all working out quite well so far  |
