| Instead of opening threads after threads (and i often repeat myself, old age and bad memory ) i think i ll try to "avoid" making as many threads as possible and maybe concentrate my questions into one thread, with hopes of finding answers to my questions. Makes more sense i guess.
Ok here goes:
on 10/20/12
1) I know there was different Bespin Luke but i was also wondering if there was different head sculpts for his head. to me "it looks" like he has a few different head when i look him up on ebay. Can anyone answer this or point me to a Bespin Luke page guide?
2) Original Boba Fett mail in. How would you identify him properly?
Thanks folks.

| question of the day: 10/22/12
I almost bought a 12" c3p0 but i cancelled at the last moment because i noticed that it seemed that the 3po had a broken part on top of his head. Apparently there is a little knob that sticks out on top of his head like in the movie and the 3po i was looking at seemed to have that part broken.
If anyone has a 12" 3po, would you be willing to take pictures all around his head so i can see that detail. I have looked at several pictures but none of them were clear enough to help me out.
The help would be appreciated.
thanks

Exactly what i needed. I guess i ll have to watch for that also when i hunt for this 3P0. The one i was gonna buy seem to have this broken off and it seems to be a common problem from what i can see. Big thanks to all who contributed to this answer to my question. cheers! |

| I see finestcomics got a good picture first. I did learn that mine is broken as well. The first C-3PO that I owned, had the foot broken (another common problem with the 12" figures). The one I have now was in better shape and a lot less scratched up. But now I will have to keep an eye out for one with that head piece in tack.
Good luck in the hunt for an in-tack C-3PO.

| question of the day 10/27/12
Except rocket firing Boba,
Is there any figure that was supposed to come out but got like cancelled at the last minute by kenner?
I am not talking about vehicles or cardbacks but more of a real action figure that was supposed to come out but did not for whatever reasons...
cheers! |

| Question of the day 11/06/12
Question # 1: how do you collect your different Coo's? I mean Ebay sellers will not likely tell you that this Ewok has a particular COO so i was wondering how people are doing it? i am just curious because there are no real collectors around here and i have to rely on Ebay for my collecting needs... ( most of the time )
Question #2 : i need to see an original mail away Boba Fett. I want to know what he looks like so i know the differences from the other releases. Pictures would be appreciated or a pointer to a nice site with pictures.
thanks

| I'm not sure what you mean by "there are no real collectors around here" Anyway COO searches- I send the seller a COO guide picture & ask which # it is. or : - flycasual wrote:

| what i meant is, around my city, region, I know of a lot of star wars fans but not of actual vintage toys collectors. Since there is a lot of COO's it boggles the mind how people are able to achieve the possibility of owning a lot of them or even variants... |

Since there is a lot of COO's it boggles the mind how people are able to achieve the possibility of owning a lot of them or even variants... I've gotten most of the variants I have by buying lots. That gives you the possibility of comparing figures with the ones you already have. Many variantions are so slight that even when knowing what to look for it is almost impossible to tell without side by side comparison. As in some of the COO stamps being identical except for ligature, letter size and exact placement. Probably at some point the ratio of variants you have vs ones you don't will make this a bad bet but for starting out it is really effective. Of the last twenty some figures lot I bought I ended up keeping about a dozen variants I did not have (and other times I've gotten none). |

| Have you got any pics?
Some ERG capes can look 'fluffy' or nibby as a result of wear. |

| Dec 06 -12 question:
Anyone here seriously collecting the figures from the Droids and Ewoks cartoon? I don't see any threads regarding them, yet some of them go up for hefty sums of money...
Don't know about some people here but i consider them as much a part of the overall vintage collection as the regular 93's that were made ok they are cartoon figures but still they are canon toy wise....
I am at 66 soon to be 67 out of the 93 but i want to get the droids, Ewoks and the other non carded figures like blue Snag and the Max Rebo band which i don't get why they are not really considered in the 93 figure count since they are actually figures...
cheers! |

| Not part of the original trilogy therefore not really on my hit list.
To many if it's not on the back of a cardback as a figure it's not part of the count. And just as many do count the rebo band & blue snag. |
