Agree totally with James! Fucking good one! I cringed when I saw the shipping carton but at least it was still in one piece inside! Before I start my swag display from the last month, I wanted to thank two great guys: Shawn and Uli! Both have been amazing to me and really gone out of their way to help me get some truly amazing grail items. Thanks guys!!! First up is a special MOC for me. Up until now I believed the (HN) Hong Kong factory only released a 65-Back Luke Jedi with a blue lightsabre and only corrected the sabre colour for 77-Back releases. I was pleasantly surprised to find I was wrong and this rare card shows that they began to correct the product much earlier. Here’s the mirror shot: Next Up are my MOCs which I have won with the help of Shawn. I have been want to find a carded moulded face Luke for some time and when two turned up within a couple of weeks, I think both of us were surprised First find was the Moulded Face Luke with Snap Cape this is believed to be the second revision from the Taiwan (TJ) factory: Thankfully the snap is visable: Next is the Kenner grail item for me. I lost out last Christmas on one and haven’t seen one since. I couldn’t believe my Luck when Shawn emailed me to give me the heads-up. As you can see in the picture, the cape is sealed in an individual baggie behind Luke. This is the first Luke Jedi off the (TJ) production line. The 65-C is next and that means I only have the 65-B from this factory to complete the entire standard run from the 65-A up to the POTF 92. I already have a friend who has a case fresh piece so that will be a nice finish! Next is the another one man sail skiff but this one has the Italian GM sticker on the bottom. I didn’t get a chance to go to C5, Bob from LukeJedi.Info was kind enough to give me and Shawn a complete set of all promo material that was given out during the collector’s get together. I believe the Red patch is one of only 20 made! Most of you will know I got a preproduction Ad-Slick for the “Do you Dare” Ad, Me and Uli were discussing the where the ad was actually released. With a bit of help from Uli I managed to figure out at least on magazine where the Ad was printed and here’s the fruits of my search: As mentioned Uli has been great in helping me get some key promo pieces. After a completely magnanimous gesture in which he donated a Canadian Kenner mini catalogue to help me complete my Jabba playset both me and Uli have traded some key pieces from our collection and as a I result I have seriously built up my Luke Jedi releated Promo material. I have also acquired the illusive 3 version of the NCOO Luke Jedi. As you can see the “Uli” collection fucking rocks! There were a few more pieces I picked up along the way: I picked up another 3-Pack with Luke Jedi inside. This one has the original Spiegal price sticker which shows that some surplus stock was sold inside the store on offer and not all through the home shopping catalogue. It is complete but has been “ kit bashed” from pieces picked up from different collections. I still am on the lookout for a genuine 3-Pack that someone has bought sealed. And can confirm with certainty that it all authentic. Another cool item is the Kenner Luke Jedi colouring book. This come from an case of unused surplus stock that a seller on ebay is selling off. I managed to get a both pages of the Sears 1984 speciallog: And thanks to Uli some more cool Toy Ads. These two come from a French Meccano Ad campaign. I love the French name for the Luke Jedi Figure. I will be looking for at least a cardback if not the MOC of this figure so if any sees one let me know! That is for now but at least I have some cool paper work item to work on my post with. Craigy |

Most impressive! Indeed. I love all the paperwork you've uncovered! You're giving me some things to search for once I get the coins all done. Congrats on the MOCs too. I'm glad I got to see a couple of those in person. |

| I've got something new to add! Finally picked up the two R2's to finish off my loose R2 variants. I got the wind-up R2 at C5 and the 3-Legged R2 from Lee here on the boards! I've wanted them both for awhile, and was very happy to pull the trigger on these. They are easily my favorite loose figures right now. The wind up R2 is a fun toy! |

| They both look great Chris. It was fun to finally see a wind up R2 walk in person at CV. I think one of those will be on my list at some point. |

| Chris that R2 looks like it was made yesterday... a lovely piece!
I never seen one close-up they really do look cool! I suppose Kenner never released this version as a figure as it was more expensive to make. |
