| The two clippers I got have larger feet. A buddy told me they should have, also I read this about a year ago. Are this common for more varaiants like PBP, Lili Ledy? (Sorry about the url, I've noticed my pictures pop up like 5-6 of them in google everytime I do a search.) |

| Hello & happy to be a member here. Maybe you guys can give me an idea on rarity & more info on this Darth Vader figure. It has a Rubber head, smaller chest buttons, smaller belt buckle. Has a Hong Kong Coo. Help is appreciated. Thanks, June |

| June. Rarity is subjective- nothing is really rare ( the Takara is harder to find & Taiwan only etc.. ) I'm not sure what you mean by rubber head. |

Well this is the only vader I have so I can't compare to another. But the head on this vader is made from a very solid rubber. I checked guides for different head sculpts but nothing comes up. I bought this on eBay just hoping its not fake. Below is the link to the auction I won: http://www.ebay.com/itm/160811725466?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_2660wt_689 |

| The seller is reliable,( don't worry about it being fake ) most heads are a hard rubber vs a hard plastic that torsos are made of. Don't get to concerned with rarity or where a figure came from or what cardback it was released on or trying to give it a 'label' you will drive yourself crazy |

| I could do with some expert advice on identifying this coo variant. I believe him to be a Clipper as he has larger feet than his hong kong counterparts. He is very glossy in appearance, his chest plate and belt buckle detail is smaller and the detailing either side of the buckle is also smaller, a bit like on a ledy but he doesn't have ledy hands. The copyright symbol and the G.M.F.G.L 1977 is very large and the the second G is scarred and also the bottom of the 9 is missing. The coo scar has a visible H but no other letters. It looks to me very much like coo #8 in Wolffs guide. the saber i believe to be genuine but i have my doubts about the cape, its very long (which is correct) but its also quite thick and is quite rough on one side with a kind of leather like imprint on it, the other side is farly smooth but it doesn't make a zipping sound. The armholes are nice and tight, its just the texture and thickness that gives me cause for doubt. Did Clipper produce thicker more textured capes? [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Rough side of cape [img] [/img] Smooth side of cape [img] [/img] [img] [/img] Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Hi Chris, i would say that your Vader is the same as the Clipper baggie variant shown in the photos at the top of this page. Your cape is also original, it is usually called the "Roguse/Leathery" textured cape. Cape can be found on Clipper baggie and sometimes also called PBP roguse cape. I would say that you have one from a "No text baggie" It also looks like your cape is an "Error cut cape" If you look carefully at the bottom edges, about 1 inch from the bottom, you should notice a very small step in the cut. Your Vader is in very nice condition.
