| Where did they come from? There has been 2 lots of pre production speeder bike parts change hands in the last year. Is the silver rear engine plastic or metal? |

I got them in a lot of a guy from England, Not sure where he got them but he says he's had them for a few years now and that they are Prototype. The silver part is metal. |

| Well the metal part appears on:
-Ledy -Meccano -PBP
bikes. and Imo the PBP and Meccano parts can be easily stripped! This one looks like stripped to me....just my 2c |

| I have had my doubts about some of the so called speeder bike prototype parts seen over the recent year. (Just my own thoughts for me provenance is everything)
Are these the ones Lee username gandalf had for sale or are they from somewhere else bro?

| One of Lee's ebay names is RS2000.. he got them from Mattias & I would be happy with them.

| They didn't come of any of them sellers mentioned. Do prototypes have the same serial numbers as the regular speeders then and Is there no way to tell them apart? |

I guess that patent is not authentic, just a copy.
Your items look pretty familiar with these: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t2063-speeder-bike-prototype-firstshot-ledy-unpainted-head

 Thanks Jimmy, I didn't know they where of tigerham mate. Looks like I've got a good start to a biker focus once the variants start slowing down. - Dr Dengar wrote:

Thanks, for your input mate, I didn't really expect it to be the real deal but a cool item all the same. |

Yeah i asked because i remember Lees came from a good RS source just couldnt remember the name at the same time i have just seen a few others kicking around that raised flags with me. So did tigerham purchase them off Lee prior to selling them to on? |

BTW: I still have my concernces about the metall part. im really no expert but the depth dont look quite right to me! It could be a stripped part as well.... |

| Hey guys, saw my name and thought I'd chime in. Better late than sorry The parts definitely looks real, it's even likely they came from me. Like Jay says, provenance is key though. The black A-bar should be slightly transculent. The rest are parts which Ive own several of, so I'm sure they're real. Most of the parts out there come from one find I (and Alvarez) did 5 years ago. It was from an old collector who used to buy a lot of stuff from the Earth. a mock-up box with a FS SB was also among the find. The patent is of course just a copy. Mattias |

Mattias Hi Mattias Thanks for adding to this thread mate and adding a bit of provenance to my parts. I will check out the translucency of the A-bar when i get a min and add my findings here, thanks for the tip. Scott |

| Hi all, I’m new on here and haven’t a clue what I’m doing, so I must apologise if this isn’t the right place to post about my items, this thread is the closest I could find (prototype parts)
I have come across a pair of rear flaps stamped 21 and 22 they are a browny gold colour, I know they are not from the modern potf speeder bikes, anyone know if these are prototype parts? |
