What's the back like? There is nothing on the back of my triple bill poster, at all John. Although the type of paper is most likely to be different between the original and any later possible re release. the paper is matte and quite heavy weight, a kind of off white cream colour, but could be discolouration due to age. the print on the front is still nice and vibrant though. |

| Nice pickups. I have seen that yoda also called the potf yoda. How does one tell a clipper Vader form any other? I was told one time that his head looks down when you look at him from the side, but I have never seen one that is looking down. |

| great pick ups , Bryan I have a clipper vader and was told that the cape has a lot to do with it also . its longer than others as well but when I said clipper wolff told me there Is no "clipper" vaders its only a pbp so I take that as fact . hope that don't sound too stupid |

| That makes sense as I think clipper was just a distributor not a manufacturer, so they would have specific variants for just them. I have also been told that about the capes, there are two confirmed versions that were found in the clipper Vader mailer. A smooth cape and a textured almost leathery looking cape. One of these capes has the odd little side cut that is referred to as a step by some. AJ may be able to find a picture of one, there used to be a good picture showing that odd cut. The odd cut cape has also been found on pbp vaders from Spanish childhood collections. This is from memory guys so may have some pieces wrong, but I think it's right.
Or a better summary: Wolff the variant king is likely spot on. |

| Nice pick-ups everyone...Those look loose figures are nice and minty. Nice work Beachboy19! I unexpectedly made a local pick-up tonight and I'm over the moon! Long story short.. I responded to a Craigslist ad for some vintage Star Wars toys on Tuesday. This morning I received an email from the seller stating he had sold most of the items I was interested in.. during those email exchanges he mentioned having a DT Luke for sale that wasn't advertised in the original post. Soooo..... I met up with him right after leaving the office and made a deal for the DT Luke Skywalker and a 41 Back Luke Skywalker MOC! Talk about a nice start to the weekend... |

Thank you...I'm pretty excited, and the fact that it was AFA gave me the comfort needed to pull the trigger. This one might take the Craigslist cake for me... I've been very fortunate over the years digging stuff up using CL, but this was pretty damn cool. His house was a 45 minute drive from work... it all came together within a few hours. |

I know right.. Words I'll happily eat! I was surprised by the whole thing, the guy was really cool and appreciative of that stuff going into my collection. He's a semi-active "in the dark" collector with a lot of nice pieces. I had to pinch myself this morning |

Jealous of the Clipper Vader! I lost out on one a few weeks ago. |

No doubt... it wasn't that long ago that we could have picked up Kenner VCJs all day in the $300-400 range. It's the last loose figure I'm after... I believe I saw an 85 sell for nearly $2,000 not too long ago. Mind blown. |
