| Yeah I'm happy with that. To me one of the POCH traits is mixed up factory overstock. I've examined the two halves closely and they difinately left the factory together as there are some signs of a partial sonic weld.

| Those poch figures look great Stef! - forgive me for my ignorance, but why were poch figures poorly sonic welded? Weren't they all made in the same Far East factory? Interesting. Well done on the MISB speeder Lobotic! - you can never have enough speeder bikes the sealed ones are so much harder to find. Great pick-ups! |

The theory amongst collectors is that early POCH figures used imported parts from the far east, these were both painted in Spain hence the unique paint apps (choc brown leg han hoth for example) and then assembled. The melt marks tend to be in similar positions on a lot of the POCH figures so my best guess would be that the cradle they used during the sonic welding process contacted the figures in these area's and the vibration against the cradle caused the melt marks. All a theory by the way!! |
