| I love them. Great pilots lineup. They're all totally unique, full of character and rough and ready to go - almost like a bootleg style. With nice little details and touches too. Like the kit bags a well. Kudos to the creator of these, I really hope he joins up so can tell us more about the ideas and processes behind them. |

| When I saw these custom figures on ebay I instantly fell in love with them. The artistic look, the roughness, the used paint, everything matched. Unfortunately, the seller didn't ship outside the US, and could not even be contacted via ebay mail. So I asked James to hit the BINs for me. But he didn't. Instead he choose the second option of placing bids. This way he won all the figures which I wanted thereby saving me a lot of cash, as the ending price was mostly lower than the BIN price. James did so by placing the bids manually often at the last moment, with no sniper software involved, and we are talking 70 figures! What a dedication! I want to publicly thank you, James. You are a true gentleman and friend, and I owe you. I have already posted a thank you video past weekend, so I have to come up with something else this time. Fantastic that you started this thread. The figures look even better than in the ebay auctions. Looking forward to all the other great figures, but just take your time, nobody is in a hurry. Would indeed be great when the creator (Jim) will chime in and tell us something more about the background of these figures. Take care Marco |

| Thank you Marco but you know I was more than happy to do it for you Friends never need to "owe" each other and friends never expect favors to be returned - we take care of each other here at TIG because we are like family Like you , I fell in love with the customs from just the pics on ebay and also felt that they really needed to remain together as one collection . I nearly succeeded but was outbid on 1 figure : Ephant Mon I also missed out on this one because someone bought it before either Marco or I had seen it : Princess Leia Endor Celebration There were a few others I didn't "go for" but someone else bought them I believe : Aunt Beru General Rieekan Noghri Ghent other then the previous few figures Marco was able to keep most of this cool collection together |

| Man I am glad now I didnt bid on any of these. I saw them up on ebay and almost went for a few because they are so cool. I am glad you were able to get most of them together Marco. And what can one say about James that hasnt been said already... He is such a standup guy to have around. These are great to see.
I used to do some customizing and have a ton stored up in my attic. One day I will try to dig them out. Mine are no where near as good as some of the ones I have seen around here, but I had a strict rule when making mine that they had to be made of either all vintage parts or vintage and sculpey with no newer stuff. They also had to retain their articulation so that the arms and legs could move. I did break my rules for a few but mostly stuck to that. After I began working more and more my time became more limited (like everyone) so they eventually got packed away and I havent even looked at them since probably around 2005 or so. These threads are making me want to get back into it.
By the way did you also win the Bar Kooda? I believe the same seller had made one of him and that is one figure I wished that I had tried, but couldnt figure out the porportions. |

| Wow Bryan - I didn't know you did customs too Dig those bad boys out and get to taking some pics I can't believe you haven't showed us already Yes - we also won the Bar Kooda Unfortunately it was 1 of 3 or 4 figures that arrived with some slight damage . The seller packed them very well but a few were just so fragile that it was bound to happen Luckily I know a guy that does customs that will fix them quite easily He will probably be one of the last figures I photograph so I will have time to fix it ... Here are a few more of the figures that are part of Marco's collection now : EWOKS and MYNOCKStay tuned , I'll get more posted tomorrow

| Cool Sandtrooper! The Princess Leia Endor Ceebration a few posts back is also cool The Ephant Mon figure looks like it's made from clay, then been glazed and kiln-fired. As do some of his other figures |

I'm not sure what kind of clay he used but it does seem to be pretty soft - definitely not milliput or any other 2 part epoxy type clays like most of us here use  |

| These figures are great James, thanks for sharing them with us I can see why you wanted to pick these figures up Marco, they look like a lot of thought, time and effort went into designing them. With cool looking accessories |
