C3P0 Re-Pro?? Empty
PostSubject: C3P0 Re-Pro??   C3P0 Re-Pro?? I_icon_minitimeMon Aug 25, 2014 9:45 pm

Hey guys I'm fairly new to collecting and I bought a big lot of toys today, most were junk, but some items made it worth while. I figured the C3PO
was going to be another repro card like the rest, but the more I've been comparing and reading I wonder if it's real. If anyone could give me some feedback
as to their opinion on the figures authenticity and if it is in-fact a repro what am I missing? Thanks guys I appreciate the help! I had to upload the pictures to my
gallery for it to work, sorry!

Hi, your 3PO cardback looks good to me. Very Happy
The print quality & card stock look 'right'. The bubble seal has the waffle pattern (not present on all cards, but right for this one). The hanger punch has peg wear.

I hope this helps.

Steve

Thanks so much! Someone told me it's worth about 25-30 bucks, the figure is mint with stiff limbs with no wear at all, so I find this kind of hard to believe. Any idea's on what the value is roughly? I'm going to keep it, just out of curiosity because I haven't seen any that match the condition on E-bay.

Hi,

I think somewhere in the range of $20-$30 would be a fair price for an excellent condition C3PO. Sometimes it goes higher, but that would be uncommon.

If you chose to grade it and it scored well you might get prices anywhere $50 upwards. One graded AFA 85 was sold for $90 back in June this year.

And I agree with Steve, the cardback looks good to me too.

Cheers, Jared.

I'd also agree with the estimated value for the figure. You could get around $15 - $20.00 for the cardback & bubble (based on others I've seen sold).
