Where's Jar Jar!?

Those concept images blow me away each time I see them. I was reading that the creepy dude holding Vader's head could be a character called 'the Grave Robber' - or even a darkside Luke prior to returning as a Jedi master. Battle-ravaged landscapes, TIE Fighter shells, a fallen AT-AT base used for a base ... even a bionic-arm Chewie! It's like JJ Abrams is going to mash up SW with Mad Max and Terminator

For those that have not heard, it has been announced that the title for Episode VII is 'The Force Awakens'

Not entirely sure about the title. Maybe its just the graphic not being fully done (at least it doesn't look to be - looks more like a mock up).

Can't wait to see some teasers of it to help sway me one way or another.

I really like the new title    Cool it mentions 'Force'.

I thought the trailer was ace, very impressed, can't wait to see more

Need to watch it again, but so far, I am not sure. I do like the image with the multiple troopers. The rest of it I need to digest but I am happy that iTunes had it so we all got to see a clean copy and not a cam of a trailer in a theater. Better to scrutinize it in higher quality!

With all the hype, I expected the first trailer to be somewhat more spectacular. I know the trailers never give much away, but based on what has been leaked so far, I was disappointed by it. Like Jay, I guess I need to watch it again.

I'll watch it a few times more I am sure. But this really was just a teaser. I am sure when an actual trailer hits, it will give a much bigger picture of what to expect. Still.... glad to have something to see and chat about a year before it hits theaters!

I'll bet the first trailer that means anything will be shown in Anaheim in April... and I'll be there to see it!!!

So the "the force awakens" more then likely refers to the return of the sith? Or maybe a jedi has turned down the dark path?

I can't help but think, but the more I watch it, there is a tiny little piece of my brain which thinks, is the guy in the woods with the saber.... Luke?

Don't know why, but I keep thinking it.

As for the Trailer, it's a teaser and a very early one, I don't even think principal photography is finished yet, so you where never gonna see much. The point is to get people thinking, asking etc.....

Which it has done judging by the bits I've seen on FB.

Why is the black guy in the opening scene wet... in the desert. Why does the bird on the bike have some weird thing attached to the bike in the first shot, kinda looks like a saber hilt with a holster, in the next shot it's gone?

I liked it, I was expecting old footage and voice overs so I was quite impressed

Just noticed on the pic of the X-wings, they have a new design on the wings, loved the nod to the adventure people prototype/mock-up x-wing pilot helmet too!

I really enjoyed this little snippet of an expanded Star Wars universe
But I'm a little surprised by the reactions of some so called fans on Facebook, dissing it from the off  
This is a teaser trailer, like Alex said, principle photography hasn't even finished yet. I would be quite surprised if any of this footage actually makes it to the final cut of the movie. Most big movie franchises don't usually release teasers so far in advance of the films actual release date. This is just a tiny little taster of things to come and should be treated as such.
The new look x-wings kick ass, I also liked the new saber hilt, you could do a lot of damage to someones face, in a fight, with out actually killing them

As long as the title has star wars in it, I ll watch it, good or bad don't really care.
Just happy to see the movie line continue.

Honestly I saw it and immediately went into Comic Book Guy mode but , after seeing it a few dozen times, it's got me pumped. When I saw the Falcon and heard the music on my TV (vs mobile) my hair stood on edge.

So bring it on!

Did anyone spot the replacement rectangular shaped dish on the falcon? Nice to see the small details added in hear and there, like Alex says the saber?? thing on the speeder bike etc...

One thing I don't like at the moment is the light up stormie blasters, no need imo for things like that?!??

I've seen it a number of times now and I'm still stoked. I don't get some of the negativity going around when it's just a teaser. The film will be primarily aimed at kids just like how the O/T was sold to us all those years ago. Quite a bit of hate for the new droid and the new-style saber? It's a space fantasy, give the creators some license to be 'creative'. But some O/T fans will always be a picky bunch of old bastards  

At least the trailer has done it's job and got everyone talking  

From what I've seen so far, Abrams has made more than a respectful nod in the direction of the O/T.
As someone wrote yesterday: "This trailer is bogus! It's fan-made... the good thing is this time the fan is JJ Abrams."

True, there are some fan-made trailers but the official one is the one Stef posted on page 3.
As for the voice-over, many believe it's either Benedict Cumberbatch or Max Von Sydow.
