Brazil V Portugal in the final, I would love to see that game. I think Germany are very strong this time.

Usually It would be the one of the nearest countries, being a cannuck you may have to cheer on Mexico due to the sheer lack of choice of one neighbour who are usually treated with disdain.
I've cheered on Ireland in the past with their distinct Irishmen like Andy Townsend and Mick McCarthy.
I'll be cheering on Mexico after the 1st stages have finished.

I have some choices on who to cheer for, my wife's family is German, my dad's side of the family came from England in the 1800's, my mothers family is a mix of French, German and Dutch. The USA and Mexico are close neighbours.
Maybe my loyalties could be bought for some nice vintage stuff.

I'm both dreading and relishing Palitoy and Meccano maybe meeting up at some point
I'll go for PBP vs Parker Brothers in the final.

It was a fantastic performance. I've been saying for a while now that the Spanish are now plagued with the problems that have affected the French and Dutch for about 15 years - arrogance, in fighting, egos.
But I did not expect that. Sky TV have just said that 5 people in Britain had bet on 5-1 to Holland at odds of 500-1

I'm very pleased with England's performance - except for Rooney who I've never rated and would send home right now. Too often England are negative but they gave the Italians a good game. No shame in losing to them. Big game on Thursday but we already knew that. Hope Suarez isn't fit.

Going to be an exciting match, I hope.
The Dutch and Australian national teams met four times earlier. According to the stats the Australians won three times, in one occasion the game was indecisive.
Who will win this time......

Ok, its time to tell you I am portuguese....bad experience against the German "Mannschaft". Geez what a shock Portuguese thought that 1 man could make the difference (Ronaldo) but Footbal is a team game. Above that the Germans play very well....
Ok Now I go back to my drinks to forget

JJ Abrams should hire the Mexican keeper Ochoa to play a Jedi in one of the next Star Wars films. What an amazing performance he put in against Brazil!!

Exciting match indeed. Australia is in the lead with 2-1.
Wowowo what a game! Still 35 min to play.
EDIT: Holland won. 3-2. What a roller coaster match! Australia earns a lot of credits for being such a tough oponent!

I keep waiting for a cross check or a mid-ice hit that causes a bench clearing brawl.
