Impressing statue!

So this is the second figure in the vintage line which Gentle Giants makes in a life size version (after Stormtrooper).

Makes me wonder whether GG plans to make more...

Hmm... should be about $3500 roughly here in Australia through the local distributor given that the Stormtrooper would be $3000.

If I won Lotto and had the space I'd get two Stormies to flank the Vader for my collection room. Probably just as well I haven't won Lotto As cool as it is, there are so many other cool things I could spend $3500 that take up a whole lot less room, will likely increase in value over time or at least maintain their price, and are genuine vintage.

I'm quite satisfied with the Jumbo vintage version for now

That's actually not too bad a price Dax,
considering shipping would be a few hundred dollars,
and then about $500 for customs fees.
I didn't know there is a local distributor.
Still a big chunk of cash, but I can only dream.
It would be a sight to see the full vintage line of figures done at this scale.

That price will also include shipping Australia wide which is a pretty good deal. Plus their in-store credit for purchases would nab you at least 4 x $50 credits on your next purchases, or 3 x 10% credits on your next purchases (if you were buying something less than $500 then the $50 voucher would be better value. Orders over $500 would be better with the 10%. At least there's some flexibility for you).

I would love to add this kickass statue to my room. 6'9"? Oh, hell yes! But $2600 seems pretty steep to me, even as cool as it would be.
