Don't worry Paul, the end is near. After a few nights of -25 (-40 wind chill), It got up to -8 in Cambridge today and is supposed to be around 0 deg tomorrow. So the warmer weather should be heading your way soon.

As for things to gripe about..... The Sweedish postal service..... I actually get a package out in a very timely fashion and the fricken Sweedish postal service screws it up and sends it back to me. Not the first time it's happened with this country either!!

What makes me so angry these days with ebay is their own "Global Shipping Program".

Not only do we have to pay for Priority shipping from the post offices with tracking for those of us that live outside the US, but then ebay sticks their greedy fingers into the shipping and charges outrages amounts for shipping on top of what the post offices charge.  

Just a random example.

Talk about taking advantage....

First one pops up....



Then another....



And now another bloody one....



Yes I've read about this in the Ledy guide and some luke jedi's were packed with the madine staff instead of the sabers, but come on there is no consistency here whatsoever ?!?!?!!?!!

Hmmmm, well if we can be candid, BobaFett34 irritates the shit out of me. He represents everything that can suck about the hobby. I hope he gets shunned by the community completely and takes his bullshit to Ebay and never comes back.

I also hate that I don't know shit about anything vintage other than Uzay (my own fault!). I'm a noob in that sense like the lot of you.

Thankfully, these are all minor irritations compared to how much fun the hobby can be. Look at how people organized donations for Wolff and Deber's stolen collection. Amazing stuff that we can all be happy about.

This Global shipping is a joke. Its a scam that screws over anyone not in the US so most US sellers dont even care. Some i talked to didnt even know they had signed up for it.
I have tried to understand it and the best i can come up with is its about paying duty on items that i wouldnt have to pay duty on if it was shipped without.
I love paying $10 for a loose fig, $20 for shipping and then another $7 for global shipping.
BUT hey...What loose Hammerhead isnt worth $37 US?

This is really really Fucking irritating me. If you love the item so much go buy it your self or be polite enough to contact the owner to use the picture.
