Quick rant.
I pulled out my MOC's to have a look and enjoy... no knocks or drops but immediately noticed my beloved 48 back Darth Vader (pictured in my avatar) didn't look the same. The tip of his saber snapped off cleanly and is now floating about inside of the bubble.
Sigh... a sad day in collecting for me. I would post a picture but would rather not look again.
The plastic became that brittle over the years I suppose. Has anyone heard of this happening before with Vader/Luke/Ben sabers?

Wow...that really sucks!! Sorry to hear this Mike.
Was the tip already slightly bent, maybe indicating a small fracture?
Or did the tip just fall off spontaneously?

That sucks dude. I've seen a few weapons snap in the bubble, but a tip just falling off is bizarre.
