| Subject: Suggestions on a good MOC shelf build? Mon Dec 23, 2013 12:27 am | |
| I started my MOC collection up about 2 years ago (can't honestly remember!) and it was only one or two, for a whole year. In the past year I've added 28 figures... mostly ROTJ due to the cost, three POTF including our good ole' TIG as well as four ESB figures and finally, one Jawa.
So I'm up to 30 and I have them nicely in Star Wars cases inside a curio cabinet. But 30 is as much as I can fit (5 on each shelf). Along with the MOCs, there are loose figures and 5 boxed vehicles along with my large SW model collection.
If I put one more MOC in the case, it would cover up one of the other cards.... SO..... I'm looking for guidance. I would like to build a MOC case that might hold 50-60 MOCs. My only real requirement besides them fitting, is that I can put glass doors or sliding glass so dust won't collect. No light, as I don't want to ruin any bubbles. Just will put small LED strips that I can turn on remotely when I want to show it off. Wouldn't mind this hanging on the wall to save room.
Any examples or suggestions? Thank you! |
