A friendly message pointing out the 'error' in the listing is acceptable.
When I've done it in the past, genuine sellers have either pulled the listing or modified the description so that potential bidders know it is repro.   
The scammers usually either ignore you or send a rude reply back.   

Either way, it can't hurt to try.

Exactly, some sellers are just looking the other way while selling these fakes.

There are some fakes for the burgundy Squid too, fortunately this one was made by LL on large numbers and it's not as hard to find as a real Burgundy Bib, still be careful guys.

About telling to the seller, sure give it a shot.

I'm only new here, but I'd also like to throw in my thanks, Ozio! I'm also looking to round out my loose collection with a bonafide LL burgundy Bib, hopefully this year, and this site is about all I can trust to make that happen, thanks to guys like you.

After looking for hours to my LL MOC BIB red cape , I´ve finally unveil where to look when comparing fakes... OZIO also has a great way to spot them... I will agree with him that finding a real LL Bib Fortuna red Cape is like finding a LL RRBF!! ....

I can upload more pics..... but I think many people will be very disappointed with what they have in their hands assuming they own the real thing!

Far left and the two far right ones? So #1, #5 & #6?

3,4 and 5 all look off colour wise. 1 or 2 look the best however looking at the answer I'm shocked!!

I'd say #4 is definitely fake, and I suspect #3 & #5 are also fake. Having said that, I've yet to see one in hand, so what do I know?   

I see Stef just beat me to it, & I'm somewhat surprised as well!

I have to admit, that I really wouldn't have a clue, as I have never seen one in person. The first thing that I thought when I read the question was 'wow three originals in one line up' scary really, I didn't expect that.

You're a credit to the community Ozio, I think I speak on behalf of everyone here when I say that.

I have only one Burgundy Bib in my collection (below), and I bought it from the most reliable source.

I am very happy we can rely on Ozio's expert knowledge to prevent us from fake capes.

I agree Marco, 'the devil is in the detail'. Personally Ozio is the only person I would want to buy one from!

Ok I wrote that before doing the test, I thought only #1, #3 and #4 (from l to r) were fake.....

Two more:

Ozio, are you sure that the first one is fake? I know the dealer and have bought many items from him before. He is a solid guy so if it is a fake then he was duped and doesn't know. He is also a member here. His name is Harold, but I think his seller id and TIG id are close to the same.
