Hello everyone, my name is Julio and I am new here on TIG. I am from Brazil, born in Rio de Janeiro, the homeland of modeltrem I am 36 yo, and from 1986 and 1988 I bought some figures here in Rio. These figures were quite difficult to find, even on specific stores, because some models were frequently sold out. On that time, I lived in a city which I couldn't find any figure for sale. The figures were expensive, ware not cheap, as some say. When glasslite started to sell their figures, everybody in Brazil thought great, but glasslite released only the first wave, and the trems figures were forbbiden on the stores. These are some reasons these figures are so difficult to find nowadays. I will start my thread from the last figure I bought on a store (called Tijuquinha Presentes). The 2-1B This figure was bought after Glasslite had bought the license here, so, It was already forbidden for sale. The stock figures were gone, so the dealer took the figure from the store stand, that we could never even touch them. I didn't buy more because I was a kid and my money was exactly for one figure. Look at the differences: mine, at right, and one from Tim, at left (I hope he allows me). Look the details, the figure was on stand were much better than the figures were sold. The diamond eyes, and sholders (bolt does not appear), the shape of the head, etc. I do not remember if all figures were much better, but some were, definitely. I hope you like it.

| Hi Julio,
Great you are starting to show your collection. The 2-1B you show is a variant indeed, if you look at the feet you'll see they are very different too. Yours will have 'normal' feet as the other one will have a bigger 'sole' to stand on. Looking forward to see the rest and hear the stories behind them!

This is the 2nd series Red Devils. I bought these 2nd series when I was a child because sometimes the SW figures were sold out. I didnt like them, because they did not was shown on movies This is the only one I have now, from 2nd series. Among collectors here (children), there was a story that these characters were part of the other parts of Starwars universe, maybe 7 to 9. Now, we can just laugh about this....

Here a picture of the only instruction I have for now. I will try to make a translation. Figure 66: the red devils There is an asteroid isolated from the other planets of Harmilíria, a prison where all the criminals, that have no conditions to get a better behavior again, are sent. Was in this place that Emperor Zakro started to recruit an otlaw troop, that fight for a percentage of the thefts and other crimes, they are fierce, spreading terror and destruction. Because they wear all red masks and chothing, thay are called the red devils, or "diabos vermelhos".

This was the second figure I bought, in 1986. When I went to the store, I wanted the biker scout, but it was sold out at that time.
