he is not that yellow. I took picture under a yellow light which made it worse than he really is. I tried to adjust to his real color as best as i could after... more pics of him in my review-limelight thread...

Great items as always. Alex, that is an awesome find to get that in the UK. I don't know how rare the made in mexico versions are but until I bought a ledy jabba's playset from Ozio a while back I had never even seen one with a sticker on the bottom, and I have not seen a y wing with a sticker on the bottom until yours.
The jawa with han's weapon is very nice.
Bud, did you find that on ebay? I have looked for a long time on ebay but I have only seen one on there and it was labeled as a variant. Granted I usually give up after the first few pages. Still need one of these.
Nice additions as always people. It's a veritable cornucopia of vintage here at TIG!
Interesting discussion about the Y-Wing with the MIM sticker. Earlier this year I picked up a local (Melbourne, Australia) childhood collection which among other items included a Y-Wing with that same sticker on it. I took it to the last collector fair here a few weeks back but it didn't sell so it's still with me. Now I don't know what sort of boxes Y-Wings were available in here in Australia but I do know that at times we received a mix of items from US and European stock. I do know that it was definitely a locally purchased item here in Melbourne back in the day and not a recent import so these things are obviously well distributed!

I just looked at the Facebook page and even if that was translated into English, I still would be fracking lost. I f*%#@g HATE Facebook! Crappy, cluttered layout... doesn't have any logical flow... what looks like links are f*%#@g picture pop ups. Complete and utterly useless piece of shtako. Sorry for my rant, I am a reasonably clever fellow, but I just can't understand how people navigate or put up with that site, let alone like it. I can't and I don't.
No offense meant to anyone.
ANYWAY.... Stefan, since you managed to secure one, do you have a link or more info on it by chance???
cheers!

I put something about this in the ledy thread. Stefan is it a fairly good guide? Does it have any information not already in the tig discussion? I thought about getting one but I can't read nor speak Spanish, so I was unsure if it would be worth it. There was discussion that he may put out an English version later, and if it is a decent guide I will get one then.

Finally received my latest and so far literately 'greatest' addition for my (small) stormtrooper collection.
15" Mexican 1983 bootleg stormtrooper with original gun
Both figure and weapon are supposed to be cast from a regular 4", but i doubt this due to differences on the chest-plate and kneecap among others.. The plastic is thin, i estimate less than 1mm (figure even has 2 tiny holes, 1 on the back, 1 on the front) and i could squeeze dents in any part very easily. This is possibly the reason why not so many examples have survived. Also the 'sprew' is still attached to 1 of the arms which is visible through a hole in the crotch area. (Totally anatomically correct) Big Stormy can't hold his blaster which was originally solved by just using a rubber band and strap it against the leg. The blaster is cast in black but has a grey / translucent stripe running along the length of the total gun.
It came sealed in a translucent bag without any card but with a strange colored decal on the chest-plate. (I've found only pictures without the decal, and only 1 sealed with the decal but i assume they all came with this decal). The figure is reissued in 1997 with different paint application and totally different gun (and with colorful card attached to the plastic). <-- added to wishlist.
Long story but that's because I'm very happy with this piece and want to share it (although i think some of you own it also). Mexican 15" after cleaning 30 years of dirt, besides Mexican 4" Lili Ledy.
A BIG thanks to Stefan for showing / directing me to this figure, and for not adding this beauty to your own collection mate

that would be 7 too much since I'm sure you must have a way more decent example in your collection, but good you saved them!
Just received another nice package btw It's the TopToys 'moc' with 'blue' blaster as discussed by John recently. (i consider it 100% genuine after the discussion and comparisons with black TT blasters)
Besides a thank you to Stefan (again for directing me to this piece) i want to thank you John for your huge help securing this item for me. Without getting to cheesy, I'm truly amazed by this community and you guys in particular. I've never experienced this level of trust and willingness to help and support each other and specifically a rather new member like me.

Fred - My pleasure. I'm really glad I could help you out. It's what the hobby is really about.
Everyone - I'm not a saint. I'll be selling these off, I just wanted to get them off that U grade thread. Believe it or not, I don't need 7 Klaatus LOL
