Awesome collection! The thing is love the most from the vintage era was or is, packaging, inserts, catalogs and other stuff that Kenner printed for their toys. You collection is really remarkable. keep up the good work!

And it serves as a good reference to other who would aspire to collect these Star Wars trinkets.

well done, I love this collection!!!

I'm pondering over revamping my limelight as I have plenty of new additions missing from the main thread.

However I'm stuck on the best way to layout my limelight.

Should I keep the layout similar to how it is now and group each playset/vehicle together? Or group manufacturers together and split them down into sub categories, ie palitoy SW, palitoy ESB etc...?

Any ideas guys?

Two things for certain, a blue background and one leaflet per photo to make updates easier.


Ultimately I want me limelight to act as a mini guide so I'll add notes describing variations with the paperwork.

Awesome limelight by the way!!!

Personally, I like things sticking together like you have it on the first page.
If I want to view the Falcon, I don't want to bop around all over to see what is there.
Although having them grouped by licensee or licensee by era is very cool too.

In a perfect world, having both would rock!
Straight views of just a vehicle or playset from top to bottom for those looking just for that and then for those that want to see nothing but a cool Palitoy or Trilogo run of all sorts of things would rock too!

I guess it all boils down to how YOU want to showcase it.

Anyway.....

Can't wait to see what new additions you have in the pipes!

Yeah, allot more work to start, but afterwards maintenance shouldn't be bad, just duplicating stuff.
