Last Update: Oct 1st 2014 OK.... here is the major part of my collection that is active on display. WARNING! VERY PICTURE INTENSE!!! Please be patient as the images load. You can click them to see larger (very large in some cases) versions of them.
My new display case. Updated Oct 1st, 2014
My complete loose Kenner run!!!! Updated July 10th, 2014
My First 21 Run plus major variations of them Updated July 10th, 2014
Major revamp to the "First 21 Duo Display" to contrast major variations of the first 21 figures which will include bootlegs and customs as needed.
Some neat pieces mixed in here and there.
My MOCs Updated Oct 1st, 2014 My "Gross MOC Run" with a lil' Lego fun
And these poor MOCs are just not displayed properly yet.
Luke Bespin Fatigues
Luke X-Wing Pilot 65B
Yoda ESB 32B
Leia Boussh ROTJ 65A
Luke Farmboy and Leia Bespin Loose Focus and a little Stormy Army June 10th 2014
A quick, goofy video of the LEDs doing their thang.....
All the figs have differences in pants, flesh, eyes or hair color or discoloration. It is still fascinating to me how they differ. Still looking for an orange hair Luke..... I wish I was a good model builder, but I am not, so I used a modern Hasbro homestead.
Focus Shots Updated: June 19th 2014
These are both my DTs - regular DT with 'JJ' on the hilt and my 'Circles' DT Variant.
Focus Shots Updated: June 19th 2014 (shitty quality - need to update)
And here is a close up of one of my favorite Leia to date (center step, front row, left side): "Geisha Leia" - transformant that transformed just right!
My MOC Leia Bespin Run (Kenner US COMPLETE!) (shitty pic needs updating):
ESB - Kenner 31B Back - COO#1 Green Neck - V3 Blue Blaster - AFA 80
My complete US Kenner MOC run including the 31B and Revenge Proof.
My little Imperial Focus with a few bootlegs and customs
Vader's DT is a RevalveIT repro with the REV and || markings on the hilt. And of course that isn't a real Blue Stars. It was my second attempt at painting figures. I call him "I Wanna Be a Blue Stars Axe Man". He came out OK, but too many brush marks. I need to break out the airbrush and try again. And his cousin there is just a Chinese bootleg Stormy who joined the Blue Stars ranks... I call him Blue Stars Booty. And the Leia was my first painting attempt inspired by TishomingoSith. And there are those funny Chinese Pencil toppers as well as those reproduction J & L Slotted Fetts. I finally painted the J-Slot Fett. Not bad. I tried to be a bit different than the standards and mixed it up with the colors a bit. And just because it is a variant I want, I made him a painted dart, unpainted knee variant.
Odds-n-Ends/Bits-n-Bobs My Illusive Concepts Yoda and Luke and Vader light sabers. The sabers are based off the original camera flash bars used in the movies. Yoda's is a 2-cell Graflex I just made up not following any movie reference. Full details on my Luke's Graflex can be read HERE.
I guess you can say a Yoda, Master/Slave, whatever area Updated Oct 28th, 2013
Androda and R2-S3 (a nod for the Galaxy S3 )
And just an overall cool piece... Waddingtons 350 Piece Diorama Puzzle
I hope you enjoyed! cheers!

Placeholders were removed, images added and this post it no longer needed. I'll re-use it for something or nothing.

I finally got a few pictures up when I was trying to document my loose Luke FB stuff.
WARNING: Some images are pretty large and may take a bit to full load everything.
The loose display will change once I build my display box for my loose first 12 and move the DT display out of it.
The MOC display is meh. It works, but I hate the fact the cards droop. I have tried blue tack and that just falls off every few days and ends up in the rug somewhere. So for now, they will just have to hang.
The recards I like as is. No star cases. I still think I will punch the hangers and hang them, but for now, I like it.
The display box is just a klooge to hold the others I have. It keeps them neat and that is it really. They might join the others on the wall seeing that my MOC stuff will probably stay as is for quite a while.
And the odds and ends... yeah... I will pull the master/slave stuff in a couple days to make it a bit less NSFW.
Nothing fancy all-in-all, but its not a bad start for a few months playing collecting.
cheers!

Thanks for sharing your collection with us!
I like your loose collection of Leia Bespin and Luke Farmboy figures a lot!
LOL about the custom Blue Star Stormtrooper.
BTW: Good that you marked your reproduction cards as such! Some ebay sellers could learn a lot from you.

Thanks guys!
I really want to fix the carded display. They hang crappy. One day I will do proper shelves for them!
As for my small Vader run, it is small but I like it! 12 Back B Palitoy, Made In Mexico ROTJ and a decent card with a nice clear bubble ROTJ one (I forget the back #s off the top of my head ).
As for the reproduction cards being marked as such, I only bought them because they came that way. I wouldn't have bought them if they didn't (US seller makes them that way - it seems UK and Spanish ones all come without the marking ). I know it still is frowned on by some, but I am sorry man, they look so cool and I am not afraid to not use Star Cases or Acrylic cases. They look so natural just chilling 'out in the wild' like that.
cheers!

Nice collection Jay, the Bespin Leia focus, looks awesome, I'm looking forward to the research page
Love the Geisha Leia as well! I have this little gem in my collection, a kind of error figure in some respects, while spraying the hair a small slither of brown paint ended up on her face and created a perfect scar effect! Turns out Han didn't take to kindly to Leia slagging off the Falcon

really nice collection you got there P.T. they all look like they've got excellent paint and colour, Love those minty white luke and stormtrooper variants I've tried to start collecting Luke farmboy variants by buying on ebay but due to misleading photos and descriptions i ended up buying too many that were not as good as depicted, so i think i'm gonna stick to the classifieds a lot more now so that i don't get ripped off. you've done incredibly well there jay to get such nice figures, and in such a relatively short amount of time. I also like the way you've displayed your DT saber, looks really effective and your weird looking pencil topper dudes.

Thanks everyone!
I still have more work to do on everything and new pictures to replace those above with a couple of new additions. Not major... oh wait, my Light Brown haired (aka Blonde) Lili Ledy Leia !!!!!!!!!!!!! Say that alliteration three times fast!
@trappedtexan - thanks and you found Waldo Anakin! haha Yeah, I thought it would be funny just throwing him in behind the scenes.
@General Kahn - Alex, LOVE that Leia! PM sent !
@chris.75 - Thanks!!!! Most of my Lukes and Stormys are pretty white overall. I know the pictures tend to help hide some of the yellowing/pinking a bit, but overall they indeed are nice for the most part. I try to be careful when picking them out and will ask sellers for extra pictures if I am not sure, but I still ended up with more than a few yellowed/pinked buggers. I have given a few away to family (niece and cousins) and my friend's kid who, like any kid, love toys so they are being played with at least.
I also frequently release the beaters into the wild. By that I mean, I encase them in a soda bottle with a note like 'Star Wars > Star Trek' or 'Tatooine or Bust' and send them down the river in my back yard, or I will glue them to a golf ball and send them for a ride into the local woods, or simply leave one on a newspaper stand or public mail box. I have only seen one Stormtrooper be snagged up by a little boy about 6 years old or so and man, it made his day!!! haha
cheers and thanks everyone for the kind words!

As I continue to fine tune things, I have mentioned my display box/cabinet/whatever a few times, but I finally have started it! Nothing fancy, but me and my brother (he is the wood working guy) finally picked up supplies and got a start today while throwing back a few beers and burgers...
I think it will be awesome when complete, but I definitely wanted to document the start if nothing else since I have mentioned it a ton of times over the past few months.
In the end, the goal is a 24x24 inch inside display area with 4 sections. Each section will be about 3" deep for the figures. The overall dimensions as seen when the cover is closed will be ~28"W x 32"H. The back wall will be covered in black felt. There will be an adjustable remote controlled LED lighting system above each shelf. The wood's overall color will be the natural Oak wood stained a bit darker... I am fairly certain the last image in this post will be it in the end.
So, it is simply Day One: Just a quick view of where to start on the front piece.........
Misc Oak for the shelving and box.......
Overall front cover size with UV Acrylic/PlexiGlass ~24"x24"
A sneak peak on the stain color and the top rounded edge (pencil stencil marks)....
There is a ton more to do and beer and time limited what we could do today, but man, I am soooooooo happy it has begun!!!!!
I will be updating/documenting it as we move along on it.
I also updated some of my Post#1 images as well..........................
Anyway.................
cheers!

Progress on the display case... I haven't seen it since we stained it (working on it at my brothers), so I am not sure how dark the stain will end up... I think it should be closer to the outdoor show (pic sitting on the sawhorse).
A few more things to do like hardware for the door and mounting, LED lighting and maybe black felt to line the back walls. I won't know about the felt until the last minute. I like the pattern so far but we will see. Beyond that... maybe some labels for the figures or maybe not and maybe a graphic on the top outside of the case. Nothing set in stone and I am now rambling...
Anyway....... here are the latest pics.....
Getting an idea of available shelf height space
Starting to stain....
And yes, the top section of the inside area is a tad off only because I forgot to account for the area above the top shelf to act as a reveal for the LED lighting, so we had to add the reveal in after. With the door closed it will be fine, but it urked me and pissed my brother off that we didn't work that in from the beginning. I still like it.
I just can't wait to see it this week (hopefully)!!!!!!
cheers!

Final steps underway! LED lights are attached but the self-adhesive tape just isn't good enough, so I tried a little all purpose craft glue which helped, but without clamps there are still a few areas I need to better affix for longevity. I will be hot glueing them to finish it off. I wasn't sure about black felt at first. The pattern on the backing was great, but not very uniform and I figured it might distract from the figures. SO I decided to go for th eblack felt on the backing wall. I like it.
Not the greatest images (basement and my crappy cell phone camera), but you get the idea.
All I need to do now is: 1) buy hot glue gun to help better secure the LED light strips (Tuesday) 2) re-attach door 3) hang on wall 4) add figures
I also just updated the first post with two good images of my loose Luke FB and Leia Bespin foci.
cheers!

So finally the case is mounted, the lights are working fine and MP3 player installed and ready for video (ok, I forgot to charge it D'OH!).
The top shelf is the tough one for me to figure what really should be there. VC Jawa and DT Saber are the only mandatory things. So far, this is the best I could do with what I have. I really didn't want to stray from the main focus of the first 21 with major variations but the top shelf was/is an enigma. I threw a Leia Bespin there since it is a big part of my collection and the same goes for Yoda but Han in Carb is really out of place. I threw up my mini cardbacks and I think I like it.... well, it is the best version of that shelf so far.
Man, arranging this is more difficult that I ever thought it would be, but it is important.
Anyway, here are the mounted pics........
It was fun and me and my brother learned a lot building this and know where things for a V2 of it could be improved here and there. All in all, I like it! It is now on display in the living room for everyone that enters the house to see, so I am very happy!
I need to figure out a way to take a good picture to capture the Oak wood color and the figures inside. I am thinking that it will be only possible using Photoshop and 2 images take at different times of the day. 1 early to get the case and wood color, a second later to get a good shot of the LED lightinh doing its thing and replace the figures from the first with the second. I don't know.
Anyway.............
cheers!
