I am a bit puzzled.

I just bought a Luke from someone on Ebay, I am waiting for it to be delivered but i was looking at the original pic and his light saber is kind of yellowish green lime colored. I always thought they were blue because of the reference here and form the countless ones i have seen on Ebay. I thought that the seller was selling me the one from Ben and it was just a question of the seller matching wrong accessories to complete the toy and i had not problem with that. So to be a proper completist on my Luke i won another Luke today and he has the blue saber.

But now i am all confused. I have just got on a sales' thread suggested here by a friend and lo and behold i am seeing yet another one of these green lime colored light saber associated to Luke by the seller. The ones i have seen more green than Yellow. I thought it was just again someone trying to sell a Ben saber with a Luke Figure. But because now it is the second time i see this i have my doubts that 2 person could have done the same kind of mismatch...

My question is now. Would Luke have another type of color for his light saber? Or is this just a Ben saber? Or is this a case of yellowing or some chemical reaction that caused the saber to go from blue to green?

And yes Luke has borrowed Han's shirt on one of them.

There is a repro yellow saber for 12" figures

When i get them i will post more pics of them.

I believe that the blue one is legit. The green one is very green limey and seems to be foggy but the seller was not peddling a lot of star wars stuff so i am pretty sure the saber is not a repro, but like i said i have to wait until they come in. If it ends up being a Ben saber that is legit then i ll be happy cause all i will have to look for is a Ben.

Man these 12" accessories seem hard to get. I am proud that i got the Luke with the grappling hook cause 99 percent of what i have seen of them don't have one or if someone sells one its like 50$ or something insane like that.

Just in case anyone is reading this who isn't familiar with the line, Luke is a blue Saber, Ben is yellow.

And yes both lightsabers have repros out there

here is a back pic of the toy from the auction... It probably is a Ben saber and the black Background is somehow changing the color, also might be a combination of light or flash that does this too since they are supposed to be semi translucent.... anyways when i get them i will submit plenty of pics of the different parts so you can maybe ad more details to the guide or even verify if mine are genuine sabers.

well i guess i almost answered my own question.



I guess under certain lighting condition Ben's light saber can turn into a glowstick green color hue.
