PostSubject: Iain's MOCs   Iain's MOCs I_icon_minitimeMon Sep 17, 2012 7:04 pm

I have limelights on a couple of the other boards but thought I would share them on here too.

My focus is simply MOCs - at last count I have around 350 of them ! My main aim is to get one of every figure on every card - am down to the last 30 or so with some toughies to get but having fun doing it.

I will sort out picures of my SW and POTF cards soon. I haven't done a limelight on here before but as I have just finished both my ESB and Droids & Ewoks runs then I thought I would post these up. I am just Princess Leia Organa off the full ROTJ run,

Quite a few damaged bubbles in this lot but just happy to tick it off for the moment - upgrades will come later

Good to see you posting here Iain Smile
I've always been impressed with your MOC run(s). I like the fact that you've gone for a mix of offers.
Good luck chasing down the remaining few.

Thanks for sharing your moc collection here! Wow what a run Cool

That's cool you've managed to make three mini sub-focuses out of that lot too!

Aside from the Droids Fett, any other favourite pieces there?

Good luck hunting down the rest you need and keep us posted cheers

Just added the ROTJ run. Anyone have or see a Princess Leia then let me know.

In terms of favourites, I am a fan of Boba (but isn't everyone!) - there are a few beautiful cards in there like the Lobot - it amazes me how they can be in such good condition after all this time

WOW! what a fantastic collection you have built up. It's always a pleasure to see limelights like this. Good luck filling the gaps & keep us updated!

With regards to your factory error Han Hoth with Stormtrooper blaster. Is it on a Palitoy 65 back by any chance?

Yes, I have one in my collection. I have also seen/heard of other examples. In each case the figure has a pale face & a PBP blaster (square magazine clip). Although the weapon is incorrect for the figure, this pairing seems to be common on Palitoy 65 backs with a Tri-Logo bubble.

Edit: This combo is also found on Palitoy 45 backs with a Tri-Logo bubble. http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t2018-variant-of-the-week-han-solo-hoth

I haven't moved on at amazing pace recently - although I have upgraded a few of the ESB Cards - I am down to 25 left now, 3 SW, 1 ROTJ (Leia), 11 Trilogo and 10 POTF

Have some big hitters to get including the big three Trilogos (Madine, Jawa, Boba) and the big six POTF (Yoda, GG, AT-AT Driver, Nikto, Anakin and Yak) - but these will take some serious saving !

Haven't updated this for a while - need to add my new Leia to the ROTJ line and have also picked up a load of new Trilogos but will update those lines at a later date

I have also managed to upgrade/add to my POTF collection - just have 7 to go now
