| On a more serious note, John if it helps ease your conscience I believe you did a sterling job in handling this situation, both from offering an unbiased entry to TIG for this person and also for handling the problems encountered fairly and decisively.
From my own experience in long term involvement in numerous forums both as a participant and sometimes a moderator I have noted that the internet is full of a broad cross section of people. Some we share interests with, some we become friends with, and some we may find abrasive but learn to respect and get along with them. Regrettably there are also people who have their own personal problems that influence how they socialise with others. Some of these people exhibit pathalogical traits and worse and my perspective is that the internet can offer a great range of things to people, but mental health service and therapy is not among them.
It's not possible to reason with the unreasonable and we cannot save every person in the world from themselves. The best outcome in such a situation is to protect the community and hope that somewhere along the line the person with a serious problem receives the treatment they need. |

| I agree Dax - I think a lot of us, especially lately are looking for the ulterior motive; "you have this batch of obvious fakes - what are your true intentions behind going public with them ? Drumming up sales for your fakes, selling on ebay ?" etc. Objectively - when I step into something that I am not familiar with, that pertains to my collection, the first thing I do is reach out to my primary resources. That is why most of are friends - we provide support and information freely to help each other, where those bits of information are lacking. Specifically in my case, when I have a question about bootleg pieces, I go to Joe. I might own the items, but Joe is the expert - why would I *not* contact him ? Logically "you" should do the same thing with any other piece you have questions about. A lot of us here are pretty nice about helping people like that. (except in the case of "her" ... giving out an attitude like this won't get you the dignity of a response from me. I might not comment a lot, but I do read your posts. If you come across like a bitch or an asshole ... well, that's your problem. She's nothing more than a petulant little brat, and her track record speaks volumes. Such a complete waste - so sympathy here.

| This has made for some pretty good comedy IMO : ) The only thing that worries me is if she/he/it tries to sell them off as legit MOC's to a unsuspecting buyer.... |

| I dont want to beat this dead horse into fine powder anymore than it has been already but FFS those 12 backs were clearly and obviously as fake as they come. I attempted to watch the YouTube vid of someone opening the 2 boxes of 12 backs and straight away with just a glance you could tell they were reproductions. This is just another nail in the coffin for reproduction crap as far as Im concerned. |

| Dax - Thanks. It's never fun having to deal with kind of stuff. However, I think she's fully aware of what she is doing. |

| I don't know what she is doing! Honestly, is she testing the market to see if she can fool the pros so she can sell them? Or is she just an idiot? Plus I don't understand her language, it's like alien language that I don't understand. Not to mention every time she is asked if they are fake, she skates around the question. My guess is she is an idiot that craves attention?.?.? |

| The only insane woman that gets to call herself "Princess Leia" is the original princess... Carrie Fisher! Any pretenders to the throne will not be tolerated, especially if they cannot spell...or use capitalization...or punctuation.
Seriously...why is anyone tolerating this...person?

| I just don't get it. You don't like her...fine. Like Lee.G posted up, just don't respond to her if she pisses you off that much. Otherwise just have some fun with it. I reckon the odd nutter breaks up the boredom of the boards in between interesting posts. Just try not to get yourselves in too much trouble in the process. And NO! I don't think I am going to get a blowjob from 13,000km away...maybe some wicked Skype time though |

| The only reason I responded to her new limelight on RS was due to the fact I believe she/he/whatever is actively involved in selling reproductions. There is no other logical reason at this point to even assume otherwise. I don't have the same history with this person as the rest of you, but from what I have been able to gather (objectively) this has scam written all over it. 1) intensive cross promotion (multiple SW/fan sites, You Tube, etc) 2) real, authentic items posted along with the reproductions 3) follow up pictures that now intermix the authentic items w/ the repros (see updated pics on RS. specifically the 12b MOC Leia appears and disappears) 4) obvious attention to detail on forum posts, but deliberately side steps direct questions or issues about these items. (and/or met with a flippant or sarcastic remark) repeatedly.
Which brings me to my post - I simply made an offer which has no logical reason to refuse. I'm even willing to step that up to offer a cash bonus if they aren't repros. (which I've done with the UK based waste of skin who peddles another form of vintage garbage) There is nothing to lose, I'm offering to pay for everything, plus putting cash in her pocket - who would refuse that kind of offer ? Only one type of person actually ...

| I knew her from the mego boards ... and never had dealings with her ... chatted a bit with her (all clean talk) to be honest I felt she was getting into an area of the toy hobby that was over her head ... the vintage Star Wars game is much more harsh than some other vintage toy hobbies ... so when I saw her MOC video I was like ooops .. I hope she wasn't ripped off ... but then found out her history with others ... I had no clue. she still pops up via messages on youtube now and then ... I'm friendly towards her but yeah not going to stick my neck out for her or defend her.

| What makes this whole thing frustrating is the simple fact that she's getting a pass because she is a woman. Sorry but if this was a guy posting this , he'd be booted in no time flat. |

sad but true ... I took pity on her due to the fact she was a gal ... and thought oh she must not know any better ... but to be fair if I remember right she isn't too bad looking which gives her even more power over lonely geeky fanboys |

Have you seen the "documentary" movie The Dungeon Masters? I'm not sure if it's a joke or if it's real but it's about people who can't stop roleplaying. There is a girl there that paint her skin black, dye hair white, and dress in medieval clothes. I'm not sure if it's only for conventions, it looked to me like she was always like that. She seems to have a lot of issues and quiet high demands on her boyfriends, considering how she herself is. But there still where desperate geek boys. It was rather funny seeing how sad they looked when sitting there all painted in black, in medieval clothes and dyed hair. I know they where too look like drows or dark elves, and I think she said that the reason she liked them was because the women rule that society and if they snapped the fingers a guy would be executed. I guess if guys where willing to paint themselves black and dress up like that to be with that girl, then this one shouldn't have any greater problems. And yeah if it was a guy he would be banned long ago. It's easy to feel pity when it's a girl. Especially when you want to bring more girls into the hobby. |
