| So I just paid my $12.95 and have in flight WiFi while flying to Vegas for work. So my big question is, how long can you Gus stay disconnected from the world? I always need to be plugged in. I feel that something cool might happen , or rare item come up, while I'm not reachable. It never does, but you can't be too safe |

| I need to check out the Web at least once a day. My startpage is a swedish newspaper site and there I get news about what's going on in the world and in the world of Sports. I don't read my e-mail or visit key sites every day, but my start page I visit almost daily. |

| I hate not having the internet, when I'm at home, Its amazing how much I use it it everyday life for the like of News, weather, watching or finding out Baseball results, phone numbers, looking up directions and more Oh also coming on here. But when I am out camping I love not having the internet.

| I think the longest I've gone is 4 days. It's a true addiction. When Junior was born I even used the hospital's computer & on holidays I'll stop into an internet cafe. (I don't know how to use my mobile for internet) Heck it's 3 am at the moment, I got up to take a piss & thought I might as well log in for a bit |

| Once when I moved, the owner of the new house promised there was access to internet but turned out there was no way to get internet at that place. Except some satelite dish which was very expensive. So I got disconnected for half a year, it was horrible. Back in those days surfing through the phone was also really expensive, and you paid by mb, so I could only check mail etc. In the end I couldn't take it anymore and moved. Now days I can't manage without my phone for easy access to email and some other stuff like TIG |

| I'll only go where i can get the internet when we go away on holiday these days. I've even blackmailed my brother in law into getting wifi so i can get internet access when we visit them in the outback this Xmas. btw John, does that internet access in the plane extend to the toilet? Just asking! |

| I am on the internet all day long. If I could plug my mind into it so I didn't need a keyboard and monitor I would. It is an addiction for me, and with the invention of the smartphone. i would have to say the addiction turned into full fledged crack head over the internet. There is just way to much information to not be on it all day. I also don't have any kids and I really don't watch to much TV so what else am I going to do??? |

| Just imagine when the X-class solar flare hits the earth and takes out practically all the satellites and electrical grids.... for 6 months to 3 years. NASA? 12% chance it WILL happen. |

| I am definitely generally always connected. I will say I've never bought wifi for a flight though. When it comes to flying I just load up a movie or some reading material, but maybe I'll have to try it in August. I also like that time being forced to be disconnected though like when camping as mentioned. Sometimes it's just great to be unplugged for a couple days. Have fun in Vegas John! |

| I try not to go more than a couple of days without logging in to all the sites and services I like, sometimes being on the web chews up a good part of your life right?
I guess the internet is a blessing and a curse all rolled up into one..... |

| Sometimes when I am on vacation I will be in a place without wifi or cell service but thats never more than 3 or 4 days, so I would have to say thats probably the longest I have been without technology like that. |

I think I'd be ready to jump off a bridge by then. I'm addicted and I know it. |
