The purpose of this thread is simple...if you have a COO variant NOT in Wolffe's COO guide, post it here! Instead of waiting for an update, we can make our own.
So far this is what I have found...what do you have...?

AT-AT Commander






As you can see this AT-AT Commander is very similar to COO #1. If you look at the figure's leg you can see that the LFL is not separated by periods. All of the variants in the guide that have a scarred out COO have periods in between the LFL. This particular one is a hybrid - scarred out COO with NO periods in the LFL.

Darth Vader





This version of Darth Vader besides not being in the COO guide does not share similarities with any of the other Vader's pictured.







This Darth Vader shares similarities with both COO #3 and COO #6 but it is still different then both of those. If you can't see it in the picture the 1977 has a period after it. I found this figure in a collection purchased from France.






This version is very close to one pictured above, but is also different (note where the "G" in "Kong" ends in relation to the "1977" above it). This also came from the same French lot as the above figure.





Darth Vader with "Made In Hong Kong" COO, nothing in the guide to compare this with.





Another Darth Vader with a "Hong Kong" COO, also with nothing to compare it to.

Gamorrean Guard






Here is another Macau COO for the Gamorrean Guard. This looks to be very similar to COO #2, except the "H.K." has been replaced with Macau. If you look at the "1983" you can see the "1" is spaced away from the "983".


IG-88





This figure is very similar to COO #3, except the "Hong Kong" has been neatly removed.

Luke Skywalker





This Luke is very similar to COO #8 except the "China" has been milled out.













Both of the above Lukes share the same COO, I just wanted to spotlight the different hair colors sharing this COO. These look similar to COO #2, take note of the "G" in Kong and its placement under the "1977".

Thank you very much for sharing your COO research here.

You made some excellent pics which clarify the small differences very well.

I am going to follow this thread with very much interest and hope more members will share their pics, including Wolff himself.

Hopefully we have enough material in the end to update his COO guide.

Are you saying the AT-AT Commander is fake? Did someone "make" these? I see another one on eBay now and it's in the U.K. Mine came from a US seller. Would be good to alert the community about these!

No...the Luke raised bar doesnt look good at all!

It looks like the one I posted as fake month ago! Ill bett under UV light you see the bar is touched up (because china was cut off).

Just checked & nothing on the bar!

strange......the bar is definatley not molded that way. Its always a double bar! Check other pictures from ie Glasslite or other Mec Lukes! It looks different!

Yours has cut off China! I have one too but mine has visible touch ups. The funny thing on mine is it came in a lot. Wasnt described as Mec and was very cheap. So why should someone fake this and not pointingf it out??

Where have you purchased yours??

I have only had one other Meccano Luke (COO #10) in hand before this one (COO #11). This figure came in a huge lot from France, in the pictures the seller sent me you couldn't make out what anything was (variant wise), so it wasn't advertised as anything special. Here is a picture of another Meccano Luke with COO #11. Does this look like it has the double bar as well?



Anyone else have this figure? Seeing more would help!

I too before Wolff posted thought that your Luke coo looked a bit iffy. Here is a picture of my
no coo raised bar Luke's (one with 1977 up and with 1977 down) Have a look at the rounded
ends of the bar and you will see what Wolff means about a 'double bar'. I have had quite a few
of these rarer variants through my hands and they all have the double bar. Yours just doesn't look
right to me even though you have done the uv test. It does look tampered with to me :scratch:

I would ask Wolff whether he thinks it could simply be a factory error china Luke minus the country
stamp (China Luke's don't have the double bar incidently)

Just to add: Altering-process is as follows:

HK 3-line --> raised bar with china --> then Mec and Glasslite Luke with second raised bar! Thats why there should be a double bar. First deletes HK...second deletes China!

Thanks for the pics, I own a Glasslite & the Meccano COO #10 so I am familiar with the double bar. So I busted out a magnifying glass & I can make out parts of where the China was. Was the China milled out & then the second bar stamped above it? When I compared this figure to the China COO #8, they look (different shades of yellow hair) and feel different (the French one is tacky feeling) so I doubt it's a short shot of any kind based off of that.

If its tacky feeling, it could be either repainted or deteriating, one or the other. I bought a so-called brown hair LFB one time and his hair was like that. Come to find out, it was repainted over the blonde

Definitely not repainted or touched up - that would have shown up under the black light. Deterioration is possible, but I wonder if it's the paint or plastic used. A few of the figures from the French lot also feel like this.

Im not sure....your pictures are quite dark. If I work them a bit in PS it looks like the bar is darker on yours too!!

Anyway...its funny a second pops up. Both (mine and yours) have the typical orange neck which doesnt appear on china dudes!

Maybe there was a little (hand altered) batch that left the factory......strange indeed!

And I still have to say: Your bar looks exactly like mine and its definatley cut off...no used mold, short shot etc....this would look way different. It must be cut...if its before spraying the legs or after....but its cut.

Yes...HK Wicket is pre production!

Yes....no coo Gonk is faked from Billyboy! All of them
