I probably asked this before but here goes.

Is there a way to clean up the residue white powder on the figures? I got a chewie and zuckuss affected this way. Its not dust but some white powder that does not seem to want to go away, probably a chemical reaction with the plastic but id like to know if there is a way to clean it.

Pics would help. White "frosting" is usually mold. A little time under a heat lamp or even in good enough sun will take care of it.

i don't have pic handy right now but on my chewie it is in the crevasses of the toy. I originally tried to wash it off with mild dish soap and water but it still is there, Not the end of the world but a little annoying since the figure is super nice.

Like John said its a kind of mold. Stick it in the sun for a bit and it'll go away. Or under a lamp for awhile. It happens all the time to be honest.

so put him on the ledge of a window? roughly for how long? until the stuff goes away?

When I've tried the sunlight method on moc figures, you can litterally watch the 'frosting' melt away within a matter of minutes. With regards to loose figures, I have manually removed the 'frosting' by wiping with some damp paper kitchen towel. The figures were then wiped over with a dry towel. Once teated, keep an eye on the figures, as the 'frosting' can come back!
I've found that B-wing Pilots & Imperial Dignitary figures seem to be particularly prone to 'frosting'.

You could snort him clean... and if you get sick, call the FBI and tell them you have white power on your figures

I have a MOC Vader I've just recently tried this with. On two different days, I put it on a sunny window ledge, and the "frosting" went away, but in both instances, it came back the same day. The first time I left it in the window a couple of hours, and the second time I left it most of the day. I just kind of gave up.
