| Well, i have never thought to own one of this but thanks to a very good friend of mine who sadly leave the hobby, i had a chance to own a complete one with original skirt and rifle. After many years of collecting loose figures and having completed the sets of Kenner(with the major variants only ) ,Takara,POPY,most of the mailer figures ,Toptoys,Glasslite,Lili Ledy(15 left in this one )most of the POCH and PBP´s, i thought that the next natural step in my loose collection must be the Uzay´s and the Hungarian bootlegs. I think i had a good starting... Hope you enjoy as i do thanks Javi |

| Fantastic start to a bootleg collection. I don't collect boots myself, but I can certainly see the appeal of the Uzay's. Compared to other boots I have seen pics of they appear to be well made with precise paint apps. Very nice! |

| "I think i had a good starting..." I think you did to. That is a center piece to any collection. Good luck in the hunt for the rest of the Uzay line |

| Definitely a good cornerstone to any loose bootleg collection. I'm glad that you finally found one, I know it's been on your hitlist for a while now. Now that the addiction has started, your bank account will never be the same again....bwahahaaaa

| A fantastic milestone, Javi!! Luckily Blue Star isn't caged in acrylic, so you even have the opportunity to hold him in your own hands. How does that feel? |

I can feel a trade coming on ! I highly doubt that Javi would trade this piece so soon after finding it. There are many collectors that have been hunting for years for a loose, or carded Blue Stars. It's actually much harder to find a loose complete one, than it is to find a carded one. I had been trying to find a loose one for Javi for a year or so,with no luck, Javi found this one on his own. BUT I've had 2 carded ones go thru my hands in the past month. There's no rhyme or reason when these show up on the market. Just be prepared to pay, and be patient if you actually want a real Blue Stars. Javi, I'll be replying to your PM on RS shortly Cheers Joe |

| Congrats Javi. What a wonderful way to start into bootlegs. The BS looks great.
Chopper, when it comes down to bootlegs, its all about the hunt. The longer you hunt and wait for a certain piece to come into your collection, you'll love it that much more. Alot of them you will be hunting for for awhile and may only ever see a handful come up for sale. This line of vintage/semi-vintage is all about patience. I know I wanted to add the 3 Ewoks and a Fett to my unart collection for the past 2-3 years and I still havent landed any of them to this date. But I know that one day they will come up and hopefully the cash will be there when they do. Have fun in this area and research up on them to see where you want to start at. The best to me is a cheaper line to get the feel of them, then go up to the high end of it. |

| OH MY DAMN JAVI!!!!! That's the way to get into bootleg collecting! You're first piece is one that so many of us have been hunting and would love to own. Congrats buddy! It looks great!
And to support what Chris had to say - I kicked off my collection with a HTF piece, unart Fett. All about being in the right place at the right time. Had the chance to grab the much longed for Ewoks but it just wasn't in the cards. Makes each new pick up a nice victory. |

| I agree with everyones comments.
Some of those Uzay figures are just awesome and I am sure I will hear about one some day and it will cross my path.
I have just started on bootlegs, but some of the ebay prices just suck. Looking for other markets, but its a bit hard in Australia as our vintage toy shops have mostly closed.
When I get my sh*t together, I am selling off one complete collection and then using that money to collect bootlegs and odd balls for a while.
Really happy someone on IGF has that little beauty in their collection. Big ups !! |
