Hi guys,
still trying to find a decent way to store my loose figures. I stumbled on the protech blister pack, they look adequate for what i want to do and fairly cheap. It says they are acid free and archive safe.
I was wondering if anyone may have been using them and describe their impression on them.
thanks

Are you talking about these? http://www.theearthtoymall.com/socasmfilo.html I use them ( I think Lee m as well) figures can move about & damage paint but you could add archival paper as well.

I use those AJ posted up for all of mine. I hang them on the wall with thumb tacks and let em ride. But some of the small figures dont fit to good in some, like the Ewoks. You'll have to go to the bigger size for them to fit well or the case wont close to good. If you want to try some out, I got a few here Im not using any more.

I found this at first.
protech
I dont know if these cases are any good. I was also wondering about the acid stuff that might destroy the figures...i guess if they have survived 30 some odd years in drawers or shoe boxes they should be able to survive some more if well protected.
But i am a little iffy on the claim of "acid free" containers...i have no proof that it is indeed not harmfull to store your figure in those. But i guess the sun is the big factor here hide your figure to avoid yellowing.
Nice link to the other site and dirt cheap too...i might look into that one...
