I'm taking a chance in asking this question, but will really like to know whether any US KENNER SY SNOOTLES and the REBO BAND with clear plastic bubble exists nowadays? Or the very least plastic bubble with very minimal yellowing or discoloration?

Is it close to impossible to obtain a clear plastic bubble specimen of this set in MISB condition?

I have seen a number of examples including some graded ones, and they have all had a degree of discolouration ranging from a subtle yellow through to a distinct brown. The plastic also becomes increasingly brittle as it discolours. I would imagine getting one with totally clear plastic would be difficult & expensive, like some of the POTF figures. If you go on the AFA website it may be possible to establish whether they have any examples with clear plastic documented. In theory for every one that has been graded there should be a few ungraded examples out there.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I would be very content if I can get one with very minimal yellowing - the discoloration on the plastic bubble is something that we have to live with when collecting blister packed items from the Vintage ROTJ and POTF range. My next goal is look for an ungraded one and will be happy if the there is no crease line on the back box flap.

I part exchanged my Kenner set a couple of years ago. It has been during my search for a suitable replacement that I have examined a number of others. Mine was better than average but it did have the usual yellow tint to the plastic & some edge wear to the box. If you don't mind a bit of yellowing they are not hard to find in decent condition, it just depends on how much you are prepared to spend.
