| Hello there! My name is JediPatrick. I live in Quebec, near Montreal. I'm a newcomer here, but not really a newbie in the SW collectors realm. I've been collecting SW stuff for more than 16 years now. Mostly modern Hasbro 4" figures, ships and playsets that I open to let them breathe loosely on my shelves. I have more than a thousand figures and probably somewhere close to 2000 (I honestly lost the count). Modern Star Wars is really my main focus. But I do have about 75% of the Vintage Kenner toys (missing a few playsets, ships and some of the last few POTF figures). I do collect other toy lines such as Visionaries, Indiana Jones (modern Hasbro line), Micronauts, some vintage Transformers, as well as some Classic Space Lego sets. Mostly to revive some good old memories of the toys I had when I was a kid when I grew up in the 70s and 80s. One of my favorite line of my toy collection is really my AD&D LJN collection. I had these figures when I was young and they were among my favorite toys. Here are some pictures of my "SW Bunker" like my wife used to called the small room in our home basement where I keep my collection of toys. Please feel free to comment on my toy craving madness! LOL - Main Star Wars Collection
- Vintage Star Wars Collection
- AD&D LJN Collection
- Visionaries Collection
- Classic Space Lego, Indiana Jones, Micronauts, etc. (P.S.: Not shown in these pictures are my Vintage Transformers figures, except the Dinobots. These are kept in storage due to lack of space.) Here you go! See you around guys! |

| Welcome aboard, Patrick. What a massive collection you have there in your man's cave. I enjoyed watching the pics and the way you organized your modern figures into small dioramas. Cheers Marco |

| Hi James, Marco, Thanks for the warm welcome! I like displaying my figures in scenes, like dioramas without the decor. It's clean, simple and it organizes my figures into movie scenes. Every stranger coming into my room can relate these figures to the specific movie scenes in which they appear. I'd like to have more time to actually build nice diorama to improve display, but it'll come sooner than later. My AD&D collection is growing slowly, but surely. I just need to get some missing accessories for some figures and get the missing PVC monsters. At this point, I'm not really considering buying the carded figures, although I do have some (Skelettons of Sith from a friend for 10$ and a very nice MOC Deeth figure bought on eBay for 45$ a few years ago!) Deeth was then and is still now by far my favorite AD&D figure. In my mind, she was a cutie with an armor and a sword, so very attractive to me. I remember playing a lot with her riding the Bronze Dragon along with Peralay to confront the Raging Roper, Mettaflame and the Hook Horror. Anyway, those D&D figures are part of my overall collection I like the most. Would be thrilled if a toy retailer decided to relaunch these figures. I'm dreaming about this since I saw pictures of those D&D Kreo lego sets on display at the last NY Comic Con... |

I see you and James are already talking D&D. Thanks Clint! Yes, I've bought a Strongheart figure from James on eBay in the past few days (and a few figures backing a few years ago) and we've been chatting a little bit about AD&D. I've basically found TIG after looking on Google for AD&D stuff and while I don't post on forum as often as I used to, it's always fun to find a community of fellow collectors! And thanks for the welcome Walkie and Nico! |

| Hi everyone. I just found this thread, a bit late I know. I joined up about a month ago after years of visiting the site. Here's the short version: Canadian grows up playing with Star Wars figures, moves to Amsterdam and meets hot girl. Why Amsterdam? Well, I'm a contractor and make my living renovating houses. Amsterdam is over 500 years old and is built on sand. Houses need fixing here. Plus it's a pretty cool town. I've already received a very warm welcome, just thought I'd give you some background. Cheers - J |

| Hi there, I am quite late for the présentation thread, even If I already whrote few line about me in a early post. I am from Paris, used to collect SW figs when I was 6 in 1983 to 1986. Then I moved to other news toys like mask, nintendo...but always kept my sw collection I loved untill my 23, when I sold lot of it for little money I started collecting again about two years now, when I realised you could buy everything on internet, and I just loved it. Starting by few display I couldn't found When I was a kid, and figs, then everything I could, and now I am more focuse on loose variant, starting by meccano figs. I love films, and the first star wars is my first love with cinema. I am a cameraman today, and as a hoby I like to interview sw vintage collectors about their passion, and film their display and collection. I hope I will put some stuff soon on the web about that because I got quite lot of matérial (when editing will be finish) and keep doing it, maybe in different places now. Here you can watch some of my work: https://vimeo.com/user3554550 and my english is a bit aproximative and more phonetic, so sorry for all the mistakes and stuff that doesn't mean anything to you

| Hello everybody. My name's Eddie & I've been collecting Star Wars figures since the early 80's.. correction: I've been playing with Star Wars figures since the early 80's Thought, to myself, it was about time that I dipped my toes into this crazy world of paint & C.O.O. variants by joining this fantastic forum. I first started to collect 'seriously' back in the late 80/90's just setting out with the intention of completing my (loose) childhood collection & replacing any tatty figures with better quality ones, a goal, which I achieved around 10 years ago Nowadays I'll occasionally just buy the odd loose vintage figure , mostly major paint variants, to add to my Star Wars collection. The other main Action Figure collecting passion of mine is Palitoy's Action Force & (to a lesser degree) Action-man, but I'm into just about any 80's toy line & will add anything to my collection (that interests me) owning many varied items such as G.I.Joe, Transformers, Terrahawks, Kenner's 'The Centurions' & even a couple of Wheeled Warriors. Anyways I'm looking forward to spending quality time on T.I.G. & making lots of new friends Cheers T'shot |
