| Hello Alex and welcome to TIG! Very nice collection of Action Man 12" figures! About 3 - 4 years ago I was collecting some of the Palitoy figures and vehicles, also had lots of the early 90s Action Man stuff too. But all these were eventually sold in preference for SW. But I remember they were great to collect and the accessories and costumes were excellent. Action Man was always popular when I was a kid. Wow I see you have the Group Action Joe version of 'Rahan' (top left) specially commissioned for French comic Pif Gadget! Do you have or have you seen the GI Jane doll with eagle eyes? Please check out my blog when you get chance for some great vintage Action Joe adverts - here is the direct link to Action Joe: http://thevintagetoyadvertiser.com/category/group-action-joe/ You seem to have many of these in your collection already |

| Salut Paul, Thanks for the interesting link to your blog. Really Cool. I will also look at the other adverts. No, pity, I have not any Jane with "eagle eyes" yet ..;wish I could put my hand on one of those! Action joe had quiet a few interesting outfits, such as Zorro (licensed by Walt Disney!), The French Republican Guard, Davy Crockett, Albator (Captain Harlock in English) etc.. I have them all loose but not boxed...I need "to touch" and boxes give me kind of frustration so that's why I am only interested by the loose SW figures for the moment. I also collected variations in Gi joe and action men, I have some interesting outfits variation produced for Japan, Canada or Germany only, and even some Gi joe "dolls" produced by Lili Ledy with the GI Joe Hasbro patent on them. They are quite rare as well and Lili Ledy produced some strange outfits too.... thanks for your welcome too. |
