Trilogo faults, which (if any) are you happy with in your collection? | Bubble damage (dings/crushing) | | 33% | [ 7 ] | Card damage (creases, spider veins, sticker tears) | | 14% | [ 3 ] | None of the above - I would never buy anything less than C9! | | 5% | [ 1 ] | All of the above - I am happy with any MOC! | | 48% | [ 10 ] |

| Trilogo MOC condition - it's something that is a factor every time I buy a trilogo that has some kind of imperfection, but what makes or breaks a deal for you? I personally choose a card that has only 1 of the top two options in this poll if I can, either its got a ding and a nice card or its got a crease/tear but a nice bubble, obviously rarity comes into play and the rarer the piece the less I care about condition. Let me know what you go for guys ! Just a bit of fun |

| I voted for Bubble Dings. I was close to voting All of the Above, but sticker tears and major tears like that just bug me for some reason. I can tolerate creasing/veining, but I can't stand big tears on my MOC. |

| Doesn't look like anyone likes tears! What about this (pretend both cards are the same character ): No tears, nice bubble but some spider veins. Or: Nice card, no tears or spider veins but a dented bubble. Which one detracts more for you ? Or given that each one has 1 minor imperfection and not damage in multiple areas are they in fact equal in terms of how they look on display? That leaves this kind of card : No spider creases, no veining or rips , nice clean and undented bubble but a price sticker removal area. 3rd figure is the no go? |

I'm pretty much with John on this one. Strange as it may sound the character on/in the card has a bit to do with it as well. I'd be willing to take a more beater Lando than I would an IG-88. Crappy Klaatu but want a nice FX-7. Etc. More beater? Is that a real term? It is now. |

3rd figure is the no go? IMO, and remember it's just my opinion. I would shy away from example 3 and put 1 and 2 on the same playing field as both being acceptable. For some reason, I just can't get over sticker tears. I would rate the Klaatu as the best example, followed by the 8D8, then the Iggy. However, I would rather pass on the 8D8 because of the sticker tear. This all is subject to relative rarity though. Let's say that 8D8 was a Meccano, or even a PBP MOC. Then you have to weigh your options of damage to rarity. If you look at it under that spectrum of the microscope, then you have to accept some damage that you may not normally put up with. Just because of the rarity factor. Don't know if I helped to articulate my point or clouded it further, but it makes sense in my head! |

| For Tri's, I can deal with the bubble ding, since most are found that way because of the thin bubble. Creases and tears, maybe if its a rare item like a Madine. Otherwise the least amount of damage to the cardback, the better. |

| Although I always try to get the best MOC I can afford some of the Luke Jedi MOC are so tricky to pick up, I will gladly accept any condition. The same is true particulaly with Tri-logos offer so many variations that if I want to get them all, I will need to be unfussy |

| Interesting results!
So the majority really don't care either way as long as it is still sealed and the ones that did care were happier with a bubble ding over any cardback issues..
Out of interes who voted : "None of the above - I would never buy anything less than C9!"
Do you think that would change if the MOC was a sweet deal on an otherwise expensive figure or something very hard to find ? |

| I opted for bubble dings, but obviously prefer none if possible although that is pretty difficult with Trilogos. |

| I voted bubble dings out of the 3 you pictured Joe the Klaatu with the typical tri bubble dent is by far the most displayable imo |
